Jace just announced he's going to be doing longplays on stream instead of a multitude of games. What do you guys think the end result will be? More tactical sperging, or calmer streams? Do you like the idea of shifting from multiple game streams to longplay streams?
 
I expect him to 'cut out the boring bits' IE his failures and times he does something he finds embarrasing.
 
I predict it will depend entirely on the rules of engagement his mom sets on his computer privileges.
 
I'd love to see him play Ace Combat. It has enough explosions to keep him playing but parts of it are hard enough even on the easiest difficulties to send him into fits of rage. Red Dragon is a good idea too but I can't see him playing it for very long. Even if he manages to make a "Former Retired Marine Disabled Wounded Veteran, Future Navy Seal, Wolf Admirer, and Rape Survivor" deck he'll ragequit as soon as he gets his shit pushed in and claim it isn't realistic.

Judging by his past (mis)use of the English language, and his inherent narcissism, I knew they weren't going to be longplays in the traditional sense. That would take the player out of the picture far too much for Jace to accept.
 
I think Jace would really like the shitty GTA beat em up Final Fight Streetwise. Where you play as a badass street fighting former marine who beats the shit out of dudes so he can find his brother and get him off steroids that turn people into zombies. I haven't played it in years but I found it in my room the other day and immediately thought of Jace. :jace:

It doesn't matter to me what Jace plays as long as something entertaining come out of it. Personally I want to see Jace play any of the Total War game (Empire and Medieval II being my favorites) or play an RPG like The Witcher series.
 
I'd like to see him play Nier, all endings. But only if he actually plays it to the end. It's basically Spec Ops: The Line in JRPG form. There wouldn't be any big payoff until the second playthough, but he would absolutely fucking lose his shit on the shadow wolf, 2nd playthrough. I literally can't even imagine a situation in a game that would troll Jace harder than those scenes.

Again - isnt this why Rob suggested doing longplays (in the traditional sense of not live)? After all, if he was recording it, he could just say truthfully "NO MOM I AM NOT STREAMING!" and you know, be honest about it.

Gail hates Jace streaming, and looking at it from her point of view, it is kindof understandable.

Considering Fallout, he could go with 1 or 2. Both games have a Desert Eagle plus the latter has Semper Fi though that is spoken by the final boss, plus Jace goes against the remnants of the American Government. If he did a TES game, he could try Daggerfall though the character creation wouldn't appeal to him.

Intrestingly, he has shown alot of intrest for game genres that I didnt think he would necessarily enjoy (prison simulator comes to mind, although I imagine he had a guide helping him)

still with that said, I imagine he would hate it because unlike in Fallout 3/NV where you cannot have a 'bad' build, you can easily have a very bad build in F1/F2 that screws over your chances of doing anything right unless you know exactly what you are doing.

I might have to retract that statement I made unless he really did want to play through with a Desert Eagle.
