If it is his first drug offense he probably won't even need to spend much money. He will get put into a drug diversion program and the charges will be dropped if he completes it.

Yeah it kind of makes me wonder if the type/make of the pills in question are actually suspect and linked to some illegal distribution ring or something. He seems like someone who could pretty easily get a ritalin or adderall prescription for a number of reasons and just have his bodyguard carry it for him or whatever so the fact that the D.A. is bringing charges is interesting.
