I have never worked and I'm not American so I'm not sure about this, but it seems shady as hell:

The spirit of these tax laws is that you can write off expenses towards running your business. Never did the lawmakers think in the future people would be able to eat food on camera (or play video games on camera), talk and people would pay you money for it. What he's doing is legal and accepted in today's society.

What a fucking cringe fest. He's so damn pissy about the fact it didn't come with a cookbook to the point that Tammy had to clarify the box said it came with a booklet, not a book.
He was probably bitching at her to drive him back to WalMart so he could rage at and lord over the wage worker with his stroke arm and "Um, actually, Id like to speak to your manager" pissed-off-gorilla demeanor, return it by hurling it over he counter (or having Tammy do it) and telling them he's never coming back again before unironically walking off into the store to look for more "as seen on tv" shit.

No, that's not how it works. Those business expenses have to be "objectively reasonable" for the business you are running. They changed the rules about 20 years ago because people were starting bullshit businesses, leaving cards everywhere and then writing off everything they did as a business expense.

Eagerly awaiting the audit saga.

Jack's going to have a hard time filming his show from the assisted living home.

Don't worry, I bet Tammy will help him set up the camera and review his slop of the day.

Onision has been in deep shit with the IRS due to writing everything off as a business expense. I was skimming through the IRS tax guide for businesses and even though what he's doing is legal, it's a bit shady. The line between whether his trips to restaurants are for business or personal, is unclear since they're technically kinda both.

But I'm wondering where all his 50 indoor grills, 30 pressure cookers and hundreds of ''as seen on tv'' gadgets are. He buys them, reviews them and they're usually never seen again. I wouldn't be surprised if he buys them, deducts them and then returns/sells them.

I bet Tammy has a chunk of Life Ins on his fatass. That's why she's always happy to haul him around to the crap food place of the day.

"Yes, dear - please get that 'totes keto' double battered chicken sandwich. Each bite of that brings me closer to sweet freedom and a nice payday!"

This video was all sorts of weird. This is supposed to be a happy moment in his family's life and he undercuts it with a shitty half assed review. He invites Jack Jr and questions him about his experience on the show instead of about the girl (which his viewers may actually be interested in) which seems out of place.

After burning the vegetables, he then doesn't invite his family to share the meal - dunking food directly into the gravy boat and eating it in a disgusting manner. It would have been nice to see him sharing this with his family and daughter in law to be instead of stuffing his face alone.
