Question:
Has anyone ever cooked a decent chili that has been accepted by all sides as being 'authentic'?
The chili scene honestly sounds about spergy as the following groups of the cooking fandom:
- The perfect steak
- If you do it any other way then you are wrong
- The perfect pizza
- If you do it any other way then you are wrong
- The perfect pasta sauce
- If you do it any other way then you are wrong
- The perfect burger
- If you do it any other way then you are wrong
- The perfect fried chicken
- If you do it any other way then you are wrong
I get that this stance is often intended as a joke, but there are legitimately people who seem to actually care when people cook things in a way that isn't the way they're used to.
