If I'm correct, the new PPG goes out of its way to NOT show anything sexual at all; they ditched the boob-secretary and gave the adult teacher a completely flat chest, like she's the same age as the kids she teaches.

But wasn't there a scene where the girls were twerking? So, they removed one character for being fanservice-y and edited another so they'd have a flat chest, but having characters who are, what, five twerk is fine?

Well that animation lacks all the charm of the old stuff. They just look weird without the thick bold lines. That voice though, haha, he probably wished the Powerpuff Girls would save him from swirley-ville all throughout high school.

I was wondering this myself, she's in pretty much fucking everything imaginable and is still very active, hell even as Timmy Turner for gods sake, just weird that they didn't even bother trying to ask her.
Also @A Random Rebecca Sugar was wayyyy too young to have worked on Ed Edd n Eddy, even around the time it finally ended she was just beginning to work on Adventure Time.

Not really pissed, or anything notable iirc, just disappointed, wished the new VA's luck and moved on. Even tho people were sperging to her about how terrible it is and how she's being robbed or w/e. Same with Craig McCracken who didn't even want the show back.
I felt pretty bad for them, especially Craig. You could tell from interviews he was very happy with the show and how it got to end without being stretched out, and that he was ready to move on.

From what I've heard, they didn't bring back the original voice actresses because they wanted to "save money" or something like that, so they brought in nobodies so they wouldn't have to pay them as much. Yet they still brought back everyone else, so this doesn't make sense. Another theory is that they changed their voices so they would sound "hip" to the younger generation, but again, they brought everyone else back, so it still doesn't make sense.
Not that it matters, they obliviously dodged a bullet while everyone else was suckered in.

I can deal with the fact the reboot is not that good. It's clearly not made for me. It's made for a different audience.

If they were to refuse to lower Jared's age, it'd be better for Blossom to have the one-sided crush on him, but there's nothing about the character that suggests Blossom would fall for a guy like him. Just because he looks like a nerdy faggot doesn't mean he's actually intelligent.
Going through the character page on TV Tropes makes me feel unclean to see the traits of the original and 2016 Blossoms lumped together and contradicting each other. It says something when the fucking Powerpuff Girls wiki, as autistic as it is, has two entries on each of the characters because of how vastly different the shows are.
