That makes him sound intelligent, and I refuse to believe that's true. He probably spent a couple of minutes talking with his crew or whatever and when they thought of being "the very first to do something like that" and the attention it would receive, they stopped using their miniscule brains and made the video immediately. There's no way they would think about drawbacks, the guy is the definition of manchild, he can't think seriously about anything. The same was true with that treasure hunting incedent in VidCon. He thought for a few seconds about how "cool" it would be, and didn't feel like exploring the idea any further.

Yes, let's not forget that Logan Paul and his brother are products. They are shitty products of the late stage of a dying civilization, but still they are products. It would be supremely naive to think that promoting his entire entourage and filming is not done by professionals who at least in part script his videos.

I think entire scandal was premeditated, and yes, I totally agree that LP is a worthless person as he agreed to be part of it.

I think people's issue stems from the fact that 1.) he's got a widely preteen audience and it's not socially acceptable to expose them to dead bodies, especially since dead bodies violate the YouTube ToS when not properly age gated, and 2.) the body (or family of the body) in that video did not consent to their death being used by a screechy autist in an alien hat to spread "suicide awareness" on a monetized video.
