It's not damning evidence in the court of public opinion, which is the important front for these sorts of allegations. It's considered perfectly normal for any sort of negative / pretextually coercive sexual act to be treated as full-blown rape even if by the victim's own revealed preference it wasn't traumatic or shitty enough to really damage the relationship at the time. It's only with hindsight after you get ghosted or whatever does the full trauma of your experiences truly set in! Downplaying the severity of rape allegations due to the victim's own past words and actions regarding the events reflects the mortal sin of rape apologia and sets you up to be put on trial next.
