Not to be a stereotypical emotional femoid about it, but I can tell his new wife is just absolutely crazy about him and I think that is legitimately sweet. She seems to be just a dopey little boring nerd who is clearly super fucking into him from those pics, and that's what homeboy needs. No more crazy shit, just stability and some sort of emotional equity. Even when shit was as normal as it ever was between him and Allison, I always got the feeling that he was just way, way, way more into her than she ever was into him and he was degrading himself partially because he was trying to get her to pay attention to him.
A lot of cows never learn. This one did. Even his politics seem to have mellowed from what I can tell; going from arch-cuck SJW turbo-progressive to liberal but within more or less normal parameters. Legitimately good on him for it all around.
It was just a vasectomy, right? He could always try to have it reversed. Even if the reversal doesn't take, and it might not as it's been more than a few yers since the snip, he and Fran could always do IVF.
