I highly doubt it. My guess is he is taking a long hiatus from everything, might lose some weight and then come back as the "new" justin. Same personality, but now slimmer.

If he does that then to me it wouldn't matter too much. He can lose all the weight he wants, but he is still the creepy edgelord who has pedo friends to me. Good on him for trying to change himself health wise though I guess.

Let's look at it like this: if he's just using Justin and Kieran for editing then they're not very valuable. You can get any editor that'll take a small cut especially for the far simpler vlog videos he's doing now. I like to think that James finally woke up and moved on either that or the reduced view count has necessitated him to be more hands on with the channel. If he just contracts out the most tedious process of video making, the editing, he'll save a ton of money and also TIME by doing everything except the editing.

It's an okay video. He doesn't really bring much to it that hasn't been ruminated before but for people not totally familiar with Nosferatu. The line at around 8:00 where he thinks the actor playing Orlock may have been a real vampire was very cringe indeed. The line towards the end where he considers the Herzog remake is "The 2001: A Space Odyssey of horror films" is bizarre indeed.

Yeah, it's a tranny but they made a good video on the failure of Doug Walker's Demo Reel so this might be interesting to watch.

Question: did you even watch the video? The author is very nice to James and does a good job chronicling all the drama and the decline for the channel and AVGN.

I found the Lady Emily video to be one of the best ones talking about the decline of Cinemassacre because it’s done from the perspective of a fan that doesn’t really enjoy a lot of the content anymore but also isn’t a Truther subhuman. I found what “she” had to say about the Truth sub to be kinda how I feel. The place started out as a place where people could openly talk about the issues going on with Cinemassacre and not get banned from the sub for it. Over time though, it devolved into a place where people obsess over hating James to the point of mental illness. Like yeah guys, Justin is fat and James is going bald and Haha No Time/Muh Kids/5:40 and the videos suck now and blah blah etc, we get it.
With the dumb remarks from “her” about Transphobia and “body shaming” being just that, dumb, I fully agree that these people need to move on and stop hiding behind “it’s constructive criticism we can do it if we want” when we all know Truth hasn’t been about constructive criticism for years. The place is just a cesspit for autists to make the same jokes that were funny for a week but that week turned into 3-4 years going on 5. I mean fuck look at RantGrumps for example. The Game Grumps have had WAAAAY worse controversies than James and RantGrumps is a far more tolerable place than CinemassacreTruth.

But yeah overall, I’d say it’s one of the best videos on the subject of Cinemassacre’s backlash/decline out there. They keep the tranny opinions to a minimum (All trannies are going to think negatively of “transphobia.” Any criticism of tranny shit will be met with a negative reaction, not much can be done about that) and they focus on the issues that the channel has been facing whilst also pointing out that the truthers are people with mental problems that kinda just need to move on.


Nah not quite. People on here are much more levelheaded. Take stuff I say for example. It’s clear that I still like James and wish the best for him and say things like “I just want James to be happy and do things that make James happy.” And people generally have a positive reaction when I say things like that.

I watched all 2 hours of the "Lady Emily" video.

In my opinion... it's fairly decent. The central thesis is that AVGN has declined in recent years, but most of the blame can probably be laid at the feet of the idiots at Screenwave Media. On balance, it's a mostly "pro-James," video, and I agreed with most of their points. If I had a chief complaint, it's that it could have been condensed down to 90 minutes, or maybe even an hour.

Yeah, it's a troon, and I get that... but I've encountered some really unhinged troons in my time, and this one seems more stable than most.

I then watched their Berserk essay video, and that wasn't half bad either.

In saying all that, if you feel I have to now say something to redeem myself: No, they'll never be a real woman.

I thought that was retarded too. Fortunately, they don't go on too long about it. I also didn't appreciate the fact they glossed over the AVGN movie and said their Patreon supporters would have to pay them to go into why it's shit. That seems like a very important part of James' career to not do a deep dive on. Especially considering they did a deep dive on so many other things (hence why the video is so long).

The parts on Mike Matei and Justin were informative if you know nothing about this. Also their question as to why Justin was even in Rex Viper when all he does is bop around and he doesn't even play an instrument is a fair point and funny.

I dunno. 7/10? Decent job, but condense your shit better, and nobody cares that you're a toon.
