The reason is that making videos is his dayjob and how he pays his bills. He admitted this in his BTS video last year. He can't end AVGN as those videos get the highest views compared to the rest of the videos on the channel. AVGN videos are also sponsored which means not only do those videos get the most views, but they make the most money for Cinemassacre.
