"Sorry you can't handle my opinions"
*deletes criticism so hard it creates a new subreddit*
*spends years trying to scrub minecraft with gadget off the internet*

Whatever you say Mike :story: Him getting triggered by that "Disney adult" comment and explaining why he isn't like those other Disney adults is the icing on the cake.
I always enjoy watching Mike seethe.

Ya know, if I was going to go against the grain and pick a "Treehouse of Horrors" episode that wasn't from the 1990s Simpsons Golden Age, I might actually go for the special It parody episode from last year, both because it was actually really funny on its own merits and also because I liked that they were finally trying something new with "Treehouse of Horrors", having a THOH spin-off full episode story, with the usual traditional three-segment-plus-bumpers THOH airing the following week.

I'm not sure if the THOH full-episode story spin-off was a once-off thing, they don't seem to have an episode like that this year from the list I've seen of upcoming episodes (where they have a non-Halloween episode airing the Sunday two days before Halloween and then THOH on Sunday, November 5th).

That's actually really goddamn funny but for all the wrong reasons. This man, once an aspiring filmmaker, hasn't evolved since 2004. Almost 20 years and he hasn't changed a goddamn thing.

That's some shit you'd see out of a video from 2008. OK maybe a bit too fancy but in that vein. And it's really funny he just refuses to evolve in any shape or form.
James had zero involvement with this scene besides the green screen shot. The idea, implementation, editing, everything was done by the slobs.

Wow, this video is really, really bad.

He never talks about the gameplay, he only mentions the talking flowers and the boom effect, something that barely exists in the game which makes it so fucking hilarious. Mike really doesn't even know what bloom means.

But what about the gameplay? Absolutely nothing. What a retard.

EDIT - I did some research and apparently you can turn off the flowers. Holy shit. Manbaby makes 10-minute video about something that can be solved in 2 seconds, my fucking sides

prob a 1 off. i was hoping the THOH kinda thing they did for TG a few years ago would become a thing, but that was a one off too.

He learned that like 5 minutes in, he chose not to mute the flowers but kept complaining about it for hours, for some reason he was determined to hate this game.

Here's Bimmy's interview from that charity thing, he is very low energy and, of course, shills Sex Diaper.

See, you say that and act like James is some kind of an ISIS hostage being forced to do these things at gunpoint but it's the kind of shit he would have done in the past and the same shitty implementation too. I'll give it to him though, those dumbfucks make for excellent scapegoats.

The upcoming Halloween episode will be a revisit of a revisit of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

At least he actually beat it but what else was there to say about the game apart from the ending?
I could see James dressing up and acting like a goof. I agree. Unless there's more Jekyll and Hyde games I don't understand why he's going to revisit a game he already revisit. Maybe the guys at Screen Wave forgot, filmed the review before they realized and said fuck it, nobody cares.

What's funny is that Mike himself recently played this on Twitch:

This is the Japanese famicom version of the game. I don't know if there's a difference between versions.

He'll probably highlight the differences between the US and JP versions, do some painfully unfunny skits and rehash that fan game they played on J&MM

There's more levels, enemies, the good ending is slightly different and some sections are a tiny bit less hard. Still a shit game, just 3% less frustrating.

This will be interesting indeed, to chross check if it's Mike's gameplay when James claimed HE finally finished the game. I mean he could've pulled one from ye olde Jackie "I really do all my stunts my self you see... just not in front of the camera" Chan playbook here-

It's a shame that James refuses to make any more BoardJames since now, more than ever, there are a lot of horror themed board games
Some of which even have solo modes so he doesn't need to work with Mike or Bootsy.

I know BoardJames was more about the skits rather than the games themselves but it would be fun to have James play and comment on some horror games and it'd add a bit of variety to James tired content. There are also a lot of family friendly games so he could have his kids play with him.

There have also been revivals/reprints of old board games that James covered like: Fireball island, Key to the kingdom & HeroQuest
Had James been smart he could have acted as a sponsor for these games.

That was a very good episode of AVGN. Nothing for Redditors to complain about (even though they will), no same one camera shot, different practical effects, and a chapter in Nerd history is finally closed.

You can clearly tell James was more passionate about this one.

Seeing the Jekyll and Hyde posters and the t shirt made me remember just how much his videos on it have dredged it up from obscurity. I’d love see him track down the dude from the cover of the game and interview him.

I'm a bit surprised at the division on this one, seems like one of the most solid eps that I could actually rewatch down the road and I can't remember the last one like that anymore.
