I actually really liked the Talk About Games podcast, was fun to see Mike just actually talking about games and liking it and Ryan had good input too. They were getting decent patronage. Idk why he would reddit like this with a family.

That's sad. TCT was one of the few Reddit subs that was fun and informant. To see how the mods there can be no different from the mods of Reddit subs shows you the how bad the site is.

Reddit in general should just be used as a springboard for splinter sites. Start a community there, and when it grows big enough to catch the eye of the powermods, go offsite. Good subs are very here-today-gone-tomorrow with just how shitty and controlling Reddit is. If TCT had an offsite, maybe they could finally move past their 5:40 and MUH KIDZ jokes they've been autistically spouting for a year now.
