I honestly don't believe there was an editor. Either that or James entrusted his wife or Justin Silverman to do it and I'd be willing to bet it was Justin but that doesn't make sense either: Justin isn't a writer or an editor so why entrust this sleazy unfunny obese man to edit your book? Who knows? But James gave him a shoutout for "helping" so it's a possibility. I'm willing to bet that Justin pulled a George Castanza and converted it to Word and called it a day.
I think we all suspected they were just sets, and the enormous collection came largely from fan donations and whatever leftovers Mike had when he was buying literal trash bags worth of games at Funcoland when NES games were selling for pennies on the dollar 20 years ago. And of course, they were built in his house because he came off as so down to earth, not a millionaire that could easily afford a RLM-style studio. Which, uh, I guess he does have now, by way of Screenwave.

I guess we just need to wait until Doug releases his navel-gazing autobiography to see if Doug as an individual is as lolcow-ish as James. Given we thought James was anything but a cow until a few days ago, I wouldn’t be surprised if Doug was a pedo-sperg-rapist or something horrible (you reflect the company you keep and all-that-jazz).
I think a lot of people forget that an editor wouldn't just clean up the spelling and language, but actually try to find an overarching story/point to this book. Believe it or not, autobiographies aren't just assorted stories but assembled to give a proper insight of what that person (usually an actual celeb) want to project to the world right now. Like an editor would actually ask him what the point of telling people that he was pissing himself in public was or the story about him getting angry and failing to cut himself with a box knife or his pathetic suicide "attempt"?
Dougs is marinated in autism but i belive even if he did ruin his pants he would know not to share. Just the fact Doug "reviews" movies by going though the event chronologically makes me think he's on the spectrum when he's not doing stuff like this-
Oh god, I'm salavating at the thought of Doug Walker sharing all the inside secrets of what was going on behind closed doors at TGWTG regarding each member (at least the "major" ones that appeared on the movies too). Metokur's videos were great, but this would be even better.

Doug got in over his head, and never had the understanding or skills needed to run a company which is honestly is a common issue for youtubers. However getting in over his head does not excuse his handling of the Jew Wario shit, the fact he never reported that shit to police or even went to a lawyer to ask for advice in how to approach dealing with such allegations is pretty unforgivable in my eyes.
