That's incorrect, Tony stopped editing for AVGN but he was still working for SW, he left a month ago (about a week before Kieran), he announced it at the end of his Raiders of The Lost Ark video, the set they're using is a replica of the old one

pretty much, he starts by saying that not much has changed since the last BTS video, he mentions Mike a little later but it's just "Sometimes Mike will text me ideas"

That's not entirely true. I watched the entire thing, and around the 38 minute mark he gives a thank you message to everyone who has helped him write scripts over the years. He even mentions how he had a main writer from 2017 - 2021. Some dude named Ciaran. Mike gets a shout out too, and James mentions how he still helps with scripts to this day. The last episode Mike having worked on being the Kid Icarus episode.

I agree, but it's only because we want James to do his best. None of us here hate James in any way, he's objectively been a huge success considering his impact on the review scene and his mistakes have been relatively minor all things considered but he has proven himself to be a huge boomer and has a really incompetent way of handling things. I think people do A-Log him over stupid shit like making a few unfunny AVGN episodes and 'oh he's BALD! jokes get old quickly. But at the end of the day James is the one making this happen, If he's really not up for making AVGN episodes he can just stop. Yet he's continuing to make the series when clearly he's run out of energy or ideas and seeing his quality deteriorate when he's to blame is just funny.

He straight-up admitted that other people write the reviews during the plagiarism debacle. Even his fellow short bus riders can't be so retarded that they'll believe this. All he does is do the Nerd routine in videos and drill holes in desks. He doesn't even edit. That was Kieran. Or maybe he's back to editing now that the caveman's found a different cave.
