Yes, but she is probably on Twitch, long time since i saw her on my youtube feed, i loved her Princess Tomato episode, she seems like a perfect nerdy girl for Mike, i'll have to give him that, he seems like a lucky guy if you discount his obsession with playing video games for hours and hours straight, and he probably does coke or something (there is a video of him going of cam and you hear some snorting, he goes back and just pretends nothing happened) , i have a friend just like that, he works, comes home, does drugs to be able to just play video games until it's time to crash into slumber, rince, repeat. No way a 40+ year old guy can play to that extreme.

It's at the point that I'm shocked he hasn't just handed off the character to someone else. Like I get it's his only success and his main source of income so just killing off the character is probably out of the question, but it's clear James has zero passion for the series anymore and happily leaves literally everything besides sitting in front of the camera to someone else. The guy can't even bother to put on the right version of the shirt anymore.

There are absolutely AVGN fans out there that understand the classic formula and humor to the point they could do the series justice in James' place. Pull a Blues Clues Steve and just have the original Nerd go off to college or get sucked into a cosmic asshole or something and have a new guy take his place. SOMETHING.

James doesn't need to kill the nerd or stop making videos, but he needs to evolve the character. He's been doing the same thing for years, and while it was funny watching a 20 something year old nerd lose his shit while playing old games, watching a 40 years old man trying and failing at doing the same thing it's just pathetic.
At this point, the nerd shouldn't really be angry, but more bitter/cynical and sound and look like he's done with everything while playing, you can still sound angry while doing that anyways. Etiher that, or just drop the "angry" part and focus on reviweing the games and making jokes when you can, the angry gimmick is overplayed at this point.

I understand that it's Rex Viper and not Led Zeppelin, therefore my expectations were already low in advance – but egad, man – I could only sit through about 15 seconds of them butchering a Stan Bush classic like that. It's been about five whole years now since they tried to initially push this abhorrent project: you'd really think they would take note of the overwhelming negative feedback by now.

Even his film commentaries are unserious, He's never going to review anything dramatic, it's always retarded comedies, "harrar" or monter films. I still cringe to this day when in one of his monster madness he started to argue with Mike if Schindler's List was a "harrar" film or not, and immediately said he didn't even watch it because watching serious drama films is apparently a mortal sin to James.
