I was never interested in Japanese Pro Wrestling, but after a few pics came into my feed one time I can see the appeal

TJPW is life. DM me if you want to sperg about it.

They're running a Texas tour next month. Even if you don't know anything about wrestling you should go. You'll have a blast. I'm flying in for it. We can have a beer or something if you want.

The idol industry:

How does it compare to the K-Pop industry in South Korea? The K-Pop industry is also just as notorious in the extreme levels of training, and the sheer amount of control those corporations have over their talent, as well as the South Korean Government's involvement with them, makes them so manufactured that it seems like they can literally control when their talent can eat, sleep, and piss and shit.

I'm not that much into Japanese idols. But my general understanding is the marketing and process is different. While K-Pop idols go into debt to the company for the housing/training/staff they have, which are taken out of their pay once their contract starts. In Japan, the approach is different, where the Japanese idols are presented as if its a Japanese Child raising sim. The company simply gives the girls the basics and you as the fans form a bond by watching them improve, just starting as cover groups. They still get little or no pay since these small companies are trying to turn a profit while buying costumes, renting spaces for events and such while in such a niche market. While in K-Pop they are expected to be extremely polished on debut. There are exceptions as you get to the top end of Japanese idols. Companies like AKB48 which can afford to start investing in the girls, although the unpolished appearance on debut is expected. Maybe someone can correct me on some of these assumptions if I'm wrong

When the George Floyd riots broke out in the USA, there were some protests in Japan against "racism" as well.
All “protests” that happened before hand in Japan were small gatherings (12-20 people max) astroturfed by foreigners, to the point you would rarely even saw Japanese people at them. Since USAID has been cut, you probably won’t see similar protests for Trump’s entire second term.

He is way to old for her. But that creepy old man looks a lot younger than he actually is. I wouldn't be surprised if she got fooled by his looks when she saw him in the crowd.

Also that woman wasn't a famous idol because if she was she would be shamed and harassed by fans and even not allowed to date by the idol company. Her dating a middle aged man would be a massice scandal.

I went to find the article, shes not a famous idol, she was a replacement in some local Osaka idol group. And when you see the video with him in it, you think maybe he is regretting things

It seems like she is using him as a prop in the launch of her social media career

Interview with American JAV actress:
Pornographers and their procuring minions should get the wall.

Japanese rising up
Reiwa Japan kind of sucks so far. Reiwa first kicked off with coronapanic, to the point where wearing "face masks" could become as common as wearing clothing. And then Reiwa continues with "social justice" seemingly infiltrating more and more (like ever more schools going "transgender" with those uniforms), and there seems to be mass immigration on European scale in the future. And that's not even getting into the various issues already going on: craptastic work "culture", the birthrate crisis, the "Lost Decades"...
