The country has a massive perversion/porn problem and a collapsing birthrate.
pornography and gravure is common across even the mainstream entertainment. Singers, actresses, and even pro wrestlers are often pushed into gravure work because perversion is the norm in Japan. The Japanese porno industry is one of the biggest in the world with thousands of women working there. Men are all freaks 'Hikikomori' who spend all day jerking of to live action porno and anime

Women-only train cars exist to address chikan on public transit, and phones are required to make shutter sounds to prevent secret photography, because again, japanese men are the same freaks as Indians..

The country also faces a low birthrate, brain drain, alcoholism, suicide, and police and organized-crime coverups.
 
Funny, I have even more reasons that could turn that list into a tower but in stead I'll say one good thing about Japan. Good on them for deciding to toss out niggers, that's all.

I have a theory that Japan is essentially a country run by the autistic

In good ways (very clean, very efficient, very good public infrastructure, everyone plays video games)

and bad (everyone's socially isolated and reserved, no one knows how to talk to the opposite sex, weird fetishes, they don't understand when sex is appropriate and when it isn't)

Im autistic and I know that having sex with minors is unnacceptable.

But it isn't ideal. OP didn't bother to list it, but Japan has too much capitalism.

It causes many issues. They got richer but retained sweatshop hours.

Barf for 30 minutes because you can't into alcohol.
Watch tv/play Soyny for 1 hour.
Sleep.at midnight.
Get 4 hours of sleep.

Repeat 6 days a week.

That isnt capitalism, thats Asian culture. China is communist and theyre the same way. So are Asian immigrants who force their kids to study 10 hours a day. They need to spend less time studying and more time hanging out with eachother. Americans have a balanced school/work life balance and we pretty much invented every recent technology you can think of in the 20th century.
 
Thought it will be more interesting than generic complaints. Japan has way more interesting issues then the billionth muh porn complaints (some of it is generic to the region):
* Gambling everywhere.
* People can't speak English, even if their jobs is to speak to foreigners.
* Pajeets and chinks everywhere both as tourists and service industry.
* Shinto Buddhism is a kooky fake religion that seems more interested in taking your money and creating the image of wealth.
* No animals anywhere besides designer dogs. Even in the countryside I was amazed to see birds. I think I saw one cat the entire trip.
* Constant overcrowding while having beautiful cities/countryside almost no one walks in.
* A lot of things built on looking good rather than being/tasting good even outside tourist traps.
* Atrocious amount of waste.
 
Compared to what? Yemen? Canada? Where are these good countries that are doing it the right way?

My possibly wrong impression is that they shitted it up for tourists and the locals went along with it, like Catholics have gradually embraced "globohomo" a generation behind the church's mercenary embrace of it.

I'm not old enough to have witnessed the shift in Shinto, but I've heard old men complain about it. To them it was real, and now it isn't.
