I don't think it's Photoshop. The angle chosen in the first pic is the one used to shoot fat brides more flatteringly though.

Also Ariel, spelled like that, is a common Israeli men’s name. Can’t even give their real daughter a real girl’s name.

The font is spelled Arial though. Maybe it's because I grew up with The Little Mermaid but it's always been a "female" name to me. The "el" always seems like a feminine ending, at least where I grew up. Though looking it up a "feminine" form could also be Ariella or similar. Either way it's not an exclusively "boy" name in the modern era.

Jeanette is very puzzling. She mimes the qualities of empathy when it suits her. But when given the chance to display real empathy, there's nothing there. She's "empathetic" in that she has a desire to protect and shield Jazz, but it's not out of natural mother-child compassion. It's following a narrative emphasized by shallow reality television. Whenever she actually DOES have to talk to Jazz on a supportive level, she's very selfish and passive aggressive, often making the moment about her and how bad SHE feels. Whenever she validates Jazz or feels the pain of Jazz being away or independent, it's all about how it impacts HER and not how it impacts Jazz. Classic narc sociopathy. I don't think it was bred into her--as spoiled by her parents as she was, they don't act like her at all and express legitimate concern for Jazz's wellbeing. I think that's how she always was. Just a shallow, empty husk of a person that loves attention and is incapable of caring about the feelings of others when it doesn't involve her.

TBH She makes the parents of all those Childhood celebs that were abused by people look good. At least they have a modicum of denial in "Well I didn't KNOW that was happening"

Jaron is an Anglicization of a male Hebrew name, also.

Granted her profession is one of drug abuse and body dysmorphia that is only coupled with radical and awful surgery. Still her face looks feminine and if you don't see her nude, you assume her and say someone like Bailey Jay are women. It's odd that someone like Jazz who isn't a porn star should be better off and looking like a girl. Honestly she looks like a dude with long hair and a beer belly and bitch tits. It's the fact that his skull stopped growing into its male shape thanks to puberty blockers so he never seems to have developed the philtrum properly when growing. While males do have a longer philtrum generally, there's only a difference of like 2-4 mm between male and females; Jazz doesn't seem to have developed it at all...

I had a friend who was a scientist and she told me a part of the brain is producing a bit of testosterone. I wonder if it produces more when the testicles are gone as replacement? Are they experiencing a delayed, version of puberty?? I hope scientists are going to study this phenomena in the future.

I wonder how Jazz is going to cope with the fact that his body becomes more masculine as he gets older. The time whe he looked girlie is coming to an end. He took drugs to prevent puberty, he takes estrogen, he got his genitals multilated...and despite all this nature finds a way. This is will be pretty devastating for him. I bet Jeanette is going to drag him to other butchers to get ffs etc.

I don't think it's possible for him to fully masculinize but he is probably going to look like a bloke in his late teens or early 20s in a few years. Again just look at Nicole Maines.

Fun fact woman’s body creates a small amount of testosterone naturally as well. Testosterone is produced by the gonads (by the Leydig cells in testes in men and by the ovaries in women), although small quantities are also produced by the adrenal glands in both sexes. Adrenal glands are small, triangular-shaped glands located on top of both kidneys.

As far as in the brain, I don’t believe any testosterone is created there, but it’s the brain so lots of messages get sent from there, some of which concern sex hormones.
If we look at male hypogonadism, which is a condition in which the body doesn't produce enough of the hormone that plays a key role in masculine growth and development during puberty (testosterone) or enough sperm or both. You can be born with male hypogonadism, or it can develop later in life, often from injury or infection, or if your mother trooned you out.
It means the testicles don't produce enough of the male sex hormone testosterone. There are two basic types of hypogonadism, the first is a problem with the actual balls, the second type indicates a problem in the hypothalamus or the pituitary gland — parts of the brain that signal the testicles to produce testosterone. The hypothalamus produces gonadotropin-releasing hormone, which signals the pituitary gland to make follicle-stimulating hormone(for mensuration in woman) and luteinizing hormone. Luteinizing hormone then signals the testes to produce testosterone. Perhaps your scientist friend meant that.

Now that Jazz has had the surgery is he still on hormone blockers? Interesting about the FTMs bodies catch up with them. Kinda like Jeff Goldbloom saying “Life...finds a way”
