I slightly disagree, I think it's both. "SRS surgeons" are like the Nazi "doctors", they'd never give up the chance of having a warm body to cut into, even if it meant they have to make shit up along the way. I think it was in the tranny sideshows thread that for a real necessary surgery (or shit, even traditional cosmetic surgeries) that if the surgeon said "I have my own, personal technique" you'd get the hell out of dodge. People like Ting take "I can't work on this" as a challenge, because their "patients" are, and have always been, nothing but guinea pigs. It really fucks with me reading SRS reviews like this, even the positive ones, like its a damn amazon review. Does no one think before getting irreparable damage done to themselves? If it was possible for the slow cooker I just bought to shred my twig and berries up like a pit bull went at them I would probably be a little more cautious. Also how hard is it to prove malpractice with this sort of unregulated procedure where every doctor does something different? Is reddit whining their only recourse? Considering that even "real" transgenderism is a mental illness (and transtrenderism is a side effect of other issues like npd or bpd) which is hardly being treated at all due to "transphobia", are you seriously asking if people afflicted with eternal loss of personality and or being so psychotic for the ultimate coom are going to think rationally about this?

It's like cutting or eating disorders or other sorts of body dysmorphia. Sadly pretty common in kids, but child mental health services helps them to learn better coping mechanisms and to treat whatever illness or trauma is making them do it. The difference with this trans stuff is it's affirming a child's pathological but quite common hatred of their body rather than treating it. It's like saying to an anorexic teenager, "yeah, you're a whale, we'll get you some liposuction to be your authentic self" or saying to a body dysmorphic kid "wow, the bullies were right, you look like shit, let's get you some cosmetic surgery (and then when you're not satisfied with that, let's get you some more)" or a cutter "you just need a better selection of razor blades, and some antiseptic and to be left alone by anyone who sees you cutting yourself, they're just bigoted concern trolls". They're not looking at why the kid might feel that way, and they're just making the illness worse by going along with it.

When Jeanette tells Jazz, 18, about her idea, the reality star is all for it.

Jazz underwent the long-awaited surgery in June. Following the procedure, she shared her first post-surgery photo to social media, assuring her fans that she was “doing great” after the operation.

As long as you spent enough time in med school, in certain fields, you're capable of performing SRS.
