Minecraft is actually the worst possible example for him to have used. If he had any knowledge of the game, he would know that running a server is pretty easy and has even been reduced down to just having a mod installed nowadays. From its inception in 2009, multiplayer was a feature, which likely was just an executable Notch ran, considering later versions allowed you to run a server that way. Furthermore, Minecraft is not a live-service game. He even lists out examples of live-service games later, none of which are like Minecraft. But we all know he used it as an example to try and make people go, "Wow. Minecraft wouldn't have existed? Now I'm against this thing."

With how easy it is to catch him in a lie, you would think he would just go back to coding his game. But no, he is here talking bullshit about a real dev who made one of the most successful games on the planet. He really should stop with the fake it, till you make it tactics. Because you need to actually be good at lying and stretching truths.
It pleases me greatly that Steam is now cracking down on eternal early access games. It means he has to actually code and not type bullshit for 5 mins and then talk on stream for 8 hours.
