1. The fact that I was doing very dangerous things to my body when I was 18 to the point of almost dying.
2. I live with my dad, and I tell him to stay out of my bedroom when I am doing my stuff with Sonic.

I think somehow it's better you turned your attention to sonic instead of self warm, but I still think you should get medical help, not only about your love for sonic, but for the things that made you self warm and decide that a plushie would fix your problems. Maybe there's some things that should be worked on, but since you said you're in your 40s now, I think little can be done.

I don’t think this counts as power levelling but...What the fuck lol, I had a brief encounter with this guy on deviantart over a decade ago, I was openly a minor (around 13-14). He personally told me in a comment thread about how he was a plushophile and went into detail about what that word meant. I had almost forgotten he existed, and I sure as hell would never have guessed he was still around. Unfortunately it was so long ago I don’t have anything to back this up, but as soon as I saw the name and the distressing photos it came back.

My thoughts, Lofa, is that I didn't like Sonic's muzzle and how it looks at first, but now since I am seeing him as the real Movie Sonic again and again, I am slowly warming up to him.
