So what's this creep's engagement like? I've only ever seen him posted here so I have no idea if he's particularly popular. I just can't imagine that many people really falling for his bullshit or finding his shit comforting or validating. He's so gross and creepy and sounds so disingenuous.

I can sort of get why young women like Dylan, because he's got that bubbly theater fag, Jack from Will and Grace thing going on, but Jeffrey Marsh is a whole different type of faggot that I just can't imagine having the same appeal. Seems like the kind of guy who would collect creepy porcelain dolls or harlequin masks.

Are kids just not taught stranger danger anymore? Kids in my day would be repelleled by this guy, even the proto-faghags.

In retrospect, even when the LGBTQP community disavowed the more blatantly pedophilic or attention-seeking/narcissistic elements of the community, it should have been quite clear that it had everything to do with pragmatism and nothing to do with the idea that those things actually repulsed them.

First it was, "We're normal, just like you, but with different sexual proclivities!" Now it's, "You must accept me being an obnoxious, attention-seeking narcissist and sex pest, or else you're a bigot!"

I think it is also that kids these days seem to trust people from the internet more readily than previous generations.

Talking as a late Gen-Xer, who was among the first to have home internet connection, I remember a very strong stigma about meeting people from the internet because everyone assumed either people from the internet were socially crippled uber-nerds or serial killers and rapists.
Back then, someone basically admitting that they only had "internet friends" was an enormous red flag.

Nowadays, meeting and forming relationships on the internet is pretty "normal" and people who claim to only have "internet friends" can be seen as selective rather than an odd dweeb sort.

In previous eras a fag like Jeffery Marsh would be avoided by children.

The ones living in his street would probably bully and terrorise him by putting eggs up his exhaust pipe and throwing shit at his house.
Whenever he popped out to the shops while they played, they would squeal and run away declaring the "Gay Man" is trying to kidnap them.

He would probably lurk around a gay bar or theatre bar for relief, but be avoided by the gays and theatre types who found him creepy and odd too.

But nowadays, he can groom, groom, groom, thanks to a shift in public perception, oddly powerful pressure groups in his favour, and technology to reach kids without having to go outside and risk egging, and beatings from parents who also think he is off and don't want him talking to the children for any reason.

Tempted as I am to say Jeffrey would not be famous in previous eras, so no one would know him as an abuser, he seems to be the type (similar to Mulvaney) who desires an audience no matter what.

He'd be appearing in gay little cabaret shows, just like he was in the first video on his Youtube channel, posted 15 years ago.


But he would not be evangelising his lifestyle (at least not quite so openly as he does in the current year). He would not be targeting kids with his performances (or again, would not do it quite so openly as he does in the current year).

And so I stand by what I said: few, if any, would know him as an abuser.

That's assuming he acts in an off way to his IRL neighbours and acquaintances. Do we even have any testimony to that effect from people who encountered him offline? He might be able to hide his proclivities from the normies.

Growing up I recall quite a few men living alone or with another man in my street and the streets of friends and classmates whom we all referred to as the "gay man", "gay couple" or "weirdo".

While some did have odd habits we noticed, most we just knew something was off about.
