There are legitimate reasons to go no-contact with someone. Normally it's done as a last resort when dealing with someone with a dark-triad personality type, more specifically narcissism. This is because any and all interactions with them will only cause you pain and grief, due to their lack of empathy for you and their propensity for being manipulative, controlling assholes.

It should thus go without saying that if you're going to go no-contact with anyone, it's someone like Jeffrey Marsh.

His father later apologized to him, but I wonder what the reasons were. Maybe he feels guilty because of the possibility that his hardass attitude towards his son only caused him to double down in his faggotry, narcissism, and noncery.

It's quite obvious that because he had a lousy relationship with his Dad, he assumes that everyone else's parents are just as abusive as his were, so they would do themselves good by cutting contact with their parents too.

Oh, yes, I read the bit about his father. I didn’t watch the videos because he skeeves me out too much. I meant has anyone found out their names, anything regarding their occupations, residence, etc.

His parents may be dead. I am having difficulty finding them so far. His childhood address was shared by Aileen Uhl Marsh (51) and Michael Marsh (54). Michael is or was married to Diane who has social media I am using to try to piece together a more complete family tree. Not likely enough info to be successful.

Well said. What really stuck out to me is his mention that he is no contact with ALL of his family. Even his extended family. Also his nonchalant attitude toward going no contact.

I don't question when someone is no contact with a member or some members of their family. I no longer speak to one of my parents, so I get it. But that is a serious last resort for people who make that choice (for the right reasons and not frivolous troon reasons), not something you do on a whim just to see what you think like trying a new hairstyle. And while I've met a ton of other people who no longer have contact with someone in their family - I've never heard of anyone cutting their literal entire family off.

Given all that, I strongly question just who isn't in contact with whom in his situation.
