I'm fine with the part where Yamato can hold off her dad until Luffy returns, but the bombs are a pretty extraneous element and Momonosuke is strong enough to defend Wano at the arc's end to allow Yamato to leave
Nope, the bombs made sense. Wano was a weapon factory. Having those weapons be a plotpoint is good. As for Momo, he did damage to Green Bull but that is it. He was ready for round 2. Having someone with Advanced Conqueror's Haki makes sense from a safety standpoint. Wano was not ready and Momo knew it.

There is a huge difference between not liking a work and not liking is premise. I, for one, barely tolerate a lot of grimdark BUT when I do decide to consume one, I know what I am getting into and adjust my tolerance accordingly. I do not criticize grimdark for being grimdark unless it crosses to grimderp and the "Eight Deadly Words" are uttered.

That part is true. Of course he is ignoring how he fucks over characters and story arcs with deceptive editing like when he covered up Franky in his One Piece video and dismissed him as unimportant or how in the same video he talked about how Robin never gets fights while selectively ignoring the arcs in which she did fight. He does his research, which just means any untruths are deliberate as opposed to mistakes.
He would make more money if he was not 1) an asshole who burned bridges, 2) a biased idiot that did not think that people would notice his lies and call him out and 3) a condescending moron that talks down on others.
