Although it's obviously a very sad time, it's great that you were close and enjoyed each others' company. I'm sure she would have been very pleased with your memorial picture of her, it is a lovely piece.

And your most recent work I think has great character development, you've obviously put a lot of work into it
 
The thing that's standing out to me is how vulnerable Miss J is in this comic. Disclaimer, I've mostly just read Jenffer's Show, not the comic before that. Miss J is generally the strongest character, always in charge, always knows what to do. Younger Miss J is still dealing with a lot of insecurities that make her more human and easy to relate to. It makes characters three dimensional when they have weaknesses and overcome them.

Well, this is an unexpectedly pleasant thread. The comic is nice, the messages are nice, and I just got a nice vibe looking at what I've been looking at in this thread so far.

Really, it's not what I expect when I go onto KiwiFarms. I kind of wish more threads were like this now. Talking about eccentrics without ill intent.

I think this is down to Jenffer herself. She doesn't make stupid threats or be nasty about people or fly into rages. She's an eccentric who just wants to have a good time and make art and share it with the world. Not even the Kiwi Farmers are bastard enough to attack someone like that - there is a feels rating after all. For example, Jenffer has managed something I don't think anyone else has and got her thread title changed because it hurt her feelings. It really goes to show IMO that the other lolcows who get a lot of insults don't help themselves with their actions and attitudes. Take note, subjects of other threads.

PS nice to see Bretea back Jen!

the same was going at 8 chan untill they became dickhard and hate me then the war of wolds was on fienly you came a saved me for them
 
The art style is charming, not technically great but I like it. The spelling and grammar are kind of off-putting honestly. There's a decent story with likeable characters in this comic, which is better than a lot of people, and Jenffer seems passionate about what she does, which is another plus in her favour.

Reminds me of Daniel Johnston honestly.

just rememder this in the past there many old comics with bad spelling and grammar are kind of off-putting but they became will knowen like

the katzenjammer kids
thimble theater
andy capp
and little abaer
but they one thing comming with my strip a decent story and good jokes with like able characters and good art
and this all from someone like me with disability that is not bad i still trying to better at writing as you see it's got better or the years

now i have 30 years of miss j and the am jokes and storiy to fit in beweet arthur the tomgirl and jenffer's show 's the day i became a cat girl so how i mixed this all in and still keep on making this a good story for all and not goof it up....

Uh, Quiet, you probably shouldn't pick on people that are like two heads taller than you.

Man, he was really a butthole when he was younger. Kind of weird to see him as a bully when usually it's him being teased. Looking forward to seeing how he changes as a person.
