💼 Careercow Jeremy Charles Dewitte - Serial police impersonator, convicted felon, sex offender

Jeremy had his pre-trial yesterday and has a sliver of good news as the state has decided to Nolle Prosequi the charge of organizing or planning a motor vehicle accident:

I also came across a hilarious email, on the Jeremy subreddit, that he sent his mum from prison begging her to sell some of his shit in a desperate attempt to get his previous lawyer Amir back on the case. While Amir has worked miracles in the past I'm not sure even he can help Jeremy now, especially on the charges he's already been convicted of:

If I had been shown that email without any context or knowing who this guy is i'd have sworn it was written by some indian scammer trying to scam the guys mother with some bs prison story by sending a fake email trying to impersonate her son

That said, given how he's a registered sex offender who can't be near minors and all that, I wonder what would have happened if he was retarded enough to pull over some 16 year old girl who just got her drivers permit and was a little off in her driving. Couldn't that shit have gotten him tossed in prison?

Strangely these documents are dated 17th September, the same day as one of the charges was dropped, suggesting a possible deal. However they've only become available today, and some like the sentencing documents are still not out (although they have been requested).

Apologies for the double post, but sentencing info is out and it is absolute fucking bullshit:

That's basically less than he he's already serving for his second failure to register violation, and getting time served credit because he's already in jail? He needs to immediately retract all that bitching about his PD and how he desperately needs Amir to save him, because that might be one of the greatest plea deals I've ever seen a defendant pull out of their arse.

It is a pretty sweet plea deal, but you're forgetting he's incapable of paying his debt and not violating probation.

As a sad, but not unexpected, final update, Sgt Vidler failed in his lawsuit against his termination. As a quick tl:dr since a lot may not know/remember this story, Vidler was the Orange County Sheriff's Deputy who got so fed up with Jeremy's continuous shenanigans that during a traffic stop he arrested him on a bullshit charge. Specifically he pulled him over for open carrying a weapon but arrested him for a concealed weapons violation, except said weapon wasn't concealed even slightly since it was openly holstered on his hip.

While I would normally cheer on cops actually being held to account for their bullshit for once, firing him seemed excessive given he was a veteran cop with a good record (he was awarded a Valor medal as a first responder to the Pulse nightclub shooting) and IMO it mostly appears to have been a retaliation for him going after Jeremy after being told to let it go.

The final kicker on the entire shitshow is if he hadn't gone the BS concealed weapon route and instead gone for a simple possession charge he would have gotten away with it since it was one of those pepperball guns which I believe Jeremy is prohibited from possessing due to being a felon. I think he was also on bond for a previous incident at the time which likely would have included a no weapons clause as well.
