I feel that Jerma has turned into something very ugly, and that his degenerate fanbase is just a symptom of that. Sad times, Jermabros.

You also have to think about how young the average Jerma viewer is these days. I know he can go off with the whole plausible deniability thing and say, "Hey, you clicked the +18 button when you entered this stream, you know what you're getting yourself into!", but we all know who is really watching. It just feels irresponsible more than anything.

I really hope that people make fun of him for selling out to this unknown knockoff OnlyFans, but like others have said when people are pushing for whoring yourself out to be seen as a legitimate career path it's probably unlikely.

I was never into any of Jerma's big projects. He was his best when he was just a dude playing games in my opinion. The baseball stream, dollhouse, etc. aren't funny or entertaining to me in any way, and I think with this one in particular I've stopped liking his content. No, you're right. I mentioned it briefly before, but right around the time he did the last public domain movie night there was a push for him to get permission from whoever had the rights to the Bionicle movies so he could watch them on stream. Somehow from that sprung up this really unfunny inside joke about how he should watch them with Joe Biden and how Joe Biden is super cool and based.

A lot of the inside jokes that his chat come up with already feel really forced to begin with, but this felt especially astroturfed since I figured the super far leftists that frequent his chat favored people like Bernie Sanders over someone like Biden, who they basically see as a Republican. Note that this was long before the Dark Brandon meme became a thing so it was extra confusing to see at the time.

He was always one of the more well-liked e-celebs on boards like /v/ and he admitted once to browsing /biz/ on occasion (who knows if he still does). Even if you wouldn't say he was ever really "4chan adjacent" it's clear enough his audience used to be much more like those of other moderately-popular streamers: predominantly straight, male, and apolitical.

Moving to Vegas was the beginning of the end. An average-ish apartment there is close to $1500 a month and big and/or good ones can easily hit $2000 or more, on top of the insane near-West Coast cost of living. In between that, his gambling habit, and not having any source of income otherwise I can't blame him for selling out. The retard zoomer audience was basically a big cash cow.
