and it's a third account, not the op, so we don't even know if they support those ideas, more likely it's just someone reading an idiotic thread and dropping a nuclear bomb in the middle of it, then walking away sŭgmąh style without explaining themself

Conversely I've noticed less spam in chat since he did the infamous 'disgusting chat messages' rant, so perhaps acknowledging it hasn't all been bad.

And of course Catboy won best new character. Kinda hard to beat with its built in base, vote split between the others.

Can't reply to the person that asked but: The BRB art being removed was mostly because he felt bad for not being able to showcase the mountain of art that gathered over his hiatus iirc. He never brought it back or did another community art night since he felt guilty.

As someone who has been watching for a long time, I'm pretty confident that's not true. Those people were there long before that, probably since he caught on with the tiktok crowd in 2018. His statement was more along the lines of, "Stop shitting up my chat with negativity, I just want people to have fun while they're here," and frankly I can't comprehend why people have an issue with that stance. It's hardly bending the knee to the horde. Hell, I'm surprised the perpetually entitled trans crowd didn't call his statement fence-sitting.

I don't agree with the doomposting ITT and still enjoy the streams and don't think jerma himself has changed significantly. It's a shame what happened to his chat in the last 2 years (it used to easily be the funniest twitch chat), but still. Call me optimistic to think this about any online personality, but I get the impression he is earnestly passionate about entertaining people. He has even called himself "not a complicated person" on stream before.

Jerma announced on stream today that he's been dating a community member named Hollulu since early last year. She apparently has helped with the Dollhouse and Jerma said that the two of them came up with Grotto Beasts together. She seems pretty chill and I like her art. Hopefully people don't start bothering her about shit.
