Okay, KotOR 2 playthrough complete, and holy shit that might actually be the most disjointed game I've ever played. I'm usually pretty good at looking past rough edges to see the value in a game, but it's fucking hard to do for this one.

Chapter 13 features the beginning of Rey's tutelage under Luke, so I'm just going to skip the setup and get right to it.
That's... not a bad answer, at least coming from Rey. It's in line with her movie characterization of being rather aimless at this point, mostly acting on gut instinct without any real plan. This could have been a good setup for character development, with Rey giving a much more confident answer at a later point, but the fact that Luke doesn't berate her for how wishy-washy this answer is indicates that Jerry's going to pass up that opportunity.
Jerry elects to skip the grass scene, and-

Oh, I get it now: the Force is Lovecraft because the Force is God and Lovecraft's gods are mean. In particular, though, I want to note that mention of subsumation of the identity of the self to the Force. This notion pops up on occasion, though I suspect that Jerry came across it in this 2-hour breakdown of KotOR 2's Kreia. Given how I've spoken of the Light Side to this point, it should be no surprise that I find this idea to be fucking wrong. Following the Light Side is not about destroying yourself as an individual, but about being the best version of yourself. It can only be construed as the destruction of the self if one views the Dark Side as inherent to oneself. In the real world, we see "I was born this way[, therefore I am under no compunction to fight it]" as the go-to case of this mentality.
Use of an Earth animal aside, Aliana repeats the Sith's folly, but once again touches upon the Jedi's as well: the fear of fear itself. This failure was not only a contributor to Anakin's fall, but also nearly destroyed the Jedi Order in the KotOR era, when their fear of hasty action roused many Jedi to follow Revan into the Mandalorian Wars, and later to the ways of the Sith. It is decision paralysis, refusing to act for fear of making the wrong choice. In the EU, this is exactly what Luke fixed with his new Jedi Order.
Taking into account what I've said, my views on the Will of the Force should already be evident. Since I'm making real-world comparisons today, let's beat up on the Catholic Church. Like the Jedi Order, the Catholic Church has a habit of losing its way as an institution, becoming mired in its own sense of righteousness even as it perverts itself further and further away from its stated goals and beliefs. Luke's Order, then, would be analogous to the Protestant Reformation, tearing away the layers of sanctimony to refocus on the original intent.
I'm not going to bother repeating myself, I'm just going to laugh at the mental image of Jerry breaking his arm patting himself on the back over how "profound" he is.
The conversation drifts into seething about Ren, accommodations for the pet Porg, and then-

Let's go back to the fundamental nature of the Force. As stated by Obi-Wan in the original film, and paraphrased by Luke in TLJ, the Force is an energy field which is created by living beings, which surrounds and binds all life together. In that case, the Force can be seen as connection, the way in which our lives weave in and out of each others'. Among the population of the Galaxy, a small percentage of people are able to perceive these connections, and to push and pull at them, influencing the world around them on a level that exists outside the traditional senses, and this is what we call being "Force-sensitive". However, it is important to note that even if they cannot perceive it, the rest of life still has impact upon the Force, perhaps most dramatically displayed by the destruction of Alderaan, which sent shockwaves through the Force which could be perceived across the galaxy. The two exist in a symbiotic feedback loop: life creates the Force, and the Force in turn fosters life. Therefore, I argue that the Force is, at its core, a "ripples in the pond" metaphor, a story of how our actions influence the lives of others. As we know, the Force is described as being of two expressions: the Light Side and the Dark Side, and as I have discussed previously, these two sides denote the difference between selflessness and selfishness. Applying the themes of connection and selfless/selfish action, we see a simple distinction occur: action that enriches and enhances life is of the Light Side, while action that harms others for the benefit of the self is of the Dark Side. Thus, I derive 3 truths about the nature of the Force:
1: The Force is inseparable from life.
2: Force-users, by virtue of their power, are capable of affecting life--and by extension the Force--to a degree far above and beyond the average person.
3: When applied in a socio-political sense, the Light Side is the attitude of "be the change you want to see in the world", while the Dark Side is the attitude of "inflict the change you wish to see upon the world".
So, how, then, does Balance fit into this? I will play my hand early and state that I believe "Balance" was a poor choice of word to describe the intent behind it. Given the Jedi's myriad religious inspirations and the theme of Light and Dark, this word is most often interpreted in the sense of Yin and Yang: opposing yet complimentary forces, both essential to the order of nature. The problem with this reading is that it does not work with the rest of Star Wars on any level. Let me pose some questions for consideration. Why was Anakin foretold to destroy the Sith and bring balance to the Force, rather than join them and leave it in darkness? The only conclusion that makes sense is that the Dark Side is fundamentally disruptive of "balance", not complimentary but parasitic. It is the abuse of life, and by extension the Force. Even when Force-users have attempted to utilize the Dark Side towards ostensibly good ends, their results have been invariably disastrous. In the Star Wars universe, these are the likes of Count Dooku, Kylo Ren's EU counterpart, Darth Caedus, and our own Darth Amarosa. In real life, they are your Hitlers, your Lenins, and your Jerrys: everyone who thought they could make everything perfect by killing everyone standing between themselves and utopia.
So, what, then, is "balance"? If the Dark has no place in it, then it also cannot be a synthesis of the two, such as the Reddit notion of Gray Jedi. Drop has privated his socials from what I can tell due to Alexis (Ginger) getting doxed and he himself possibly getting doxed himself by an edgy group called Atlantropa. "Atlantropa" is made up mainly of former staff members of r/lodeddiper who have some vendetta against drop and the subreddit. I assume this is also where the "nazi fetish art" thing comes into play. They were kind of an active boogieman in the r/lodeddiper community for awhile, but I have no idea if they've done anything recently as I left quite a while ago.

what's up with her getting anon asks about her fans and their controlling abusive parental figure? it's such a common pattern in many of her asks. i think there was one a while ago about a girl running away from her mom? it's just so repetitive and unoriginal, much like her writing. how hasn't her fans figured out that many of these scenarios are fake and most likely written by her? not to mention, whenever she gets these types of asks, to me at least, they seem to be written similarly.

Those types of asks are just Liliana shoving her incest fetish on everyone's face while pretending to be sneaky about it. I think Lily is vastly over selling the kindness of the Norse gods. Odin had such lovely titles as The Deciever, The Terrible, & Evil-Doer. While some of the gods did care about men, for example Thor & Tyr, most of them were a bit more concerned with Ragnarok and getting themselves the best odds they could. Odin would most likely be perfectly happy to side with the nazis if it helped him in some way.

(Hey Lily, writing advice-- never have your characters directly comment on how profound/funny/smart other characters are! If you've earned the point, you won't need to have it said. Unless the point is to make the other character look like a lickspittle, in which case, congratulations!)
Anyway, yeah, that's sure a sequence of words arranged in multiple sentences and offset from other word clusters to create a paragraph, huh? The wrongness here is that same disjointed way that it's English but utterly unnatural. She's supposed to be pining after Aliana and questioning whether her Jedi training would be worth sacrificing being with her.
It's a moment of romantic torment, and it's now that Lily remembers the advice to avoid repeating words too close together and instead of saying Aliana she says 'the woman to whom this ship and this data belonged'. How personal. (And then she immediately forgets that advice: 'especially unbiased, especially Aliana'. You can use repetition like this to specific effect but this isn't artistic, it's incompetent.)
