Personally I don't doubt Jerry would have molested Courtney. I also think Courtney is kind of schizo. That and it's been a very long time.

Any digital records on phones are gone with the death of flip phones. I doubt if she posted anything to a forum that far back is still there, if the forum even still exists. Pictures could be a good route, if it's on a SD card it'll still be readable. But that assumes they exist in the first place.

I find the hospital story fascinating.

Apparently, the hospital 'immediately clocked' that she ahd been physically and sexually abused and then proceeded to... actually do nothing about it. I don't know what's going on in Canada but down here in the Lower 48 people in sensitive positions are taught to look out for signs of abuse and report it to the authorities. Given that this was a hospital for the care and rehabilitation of troubled youth, one would assume that they would not only be extremely sensitive toward signs of child abuse, but would not release a child in their care to the family if they had any reason to believe the child had been abused.

So either the hospital grossly failed in their duties, or Lily is fibbing.

Maybe Lily would benefit from getting high again.

Editing Stream January 17th, 2024, welcome back once again to me looking at a brick wall for six hours.

Innocuous, but I'm making a point to record every time Lily acts weird towards Lolo. It happens a lot.

Lily reads a chat message consoling her about the recent debacle with the gossip blogs, according to Lily there is an event from both her and Courtney’s childhood that she is reluctant to bring up. She avoids talking about it all costs, and has only recently told Mikaila.

Lily immediately snaps out of this funk when Lolo says she’s only finished Mass Effect 3. Complete whiplash.

I don't know what Lily has to lose by not revealing the mystery tragic event when it might mean not being called a child molester anymore. And I double don't know how teenage jerry peet was molested by a sister that he regularly beat.

Whatever the fuck happened between them when they were kids, they are both complete scumbags for exploiting their trauma like this. Stream experiences bit rate issues so Lily shuts it off so she can play alone with Lolo.

I love how Lily -- an actual Canadian citizen who allegedly has regular need of their health care system and would logically be more aware of its nuances than 'free universal healthcare' -- just acts like every facet of the Canadian system is 'free universal health care'.

When people called Lily out on obviously not getting chemo radiation treatments, she countered by claiming that she was getting chemo pills (which aren't really prescribed for skin cancer unless it's already metastasized, since early skin care can be easily treated with laser surgery). Thing is:

While Canada has a universal health system, there is no accompanying national drug insurance plan. Due to the CHA, cancer drugs given within the hospital environment, such as intravenous (IV) chemotherapy, are publicly covered. IV treatments are also publicly covered when delivered by cancer agencies. In contrast, large disparities exist when it comes to the public coverage of take-home cancer drugs (THCDs), the majority of which are oral medications. Whether THCDs are accessible to a cancer patient is determined by an individual’s home province, income, access to private drug insurance and demographics [1,2,3]. A large burden of the costs for THCDs frequently falls to the patient, leaving them vulnerable to medication non-adherence, or even rendering effective medications inaccessible [4].

In 2021 they passed a law expanding the coverage on these medicines by the CHA, but:

Eligibility is for those:

1. Aged 65 years or older
2. Aged 24 years or under who do not have a private plan
3. Residing in a Home for Special Care or Community Home for Opportunity (CHO)
4. Residing in a long-term care home
5. Receiving certain professional services provided or arranged for under the Home Care and Community Services Act, 1994
6. Registered in the Trillium Drug Program

I'm reasonably certain Lily doesn't have any of these qualifications, and chemo drugs are about $2k a box, if not more. Unless she has supplemental private insurance -- highly unlikely -- she was not getting free chemo pills, and is even more unlikely able to have afforded them.

This has come up before when she acts like her once-a-month totally-real therapy sessions are also free when Canada will only cover therapy in extremely specific circumstances (notably, if you're receiving therapy while hospitalized), which Lily does not qualify for.

Honestly. If you're going to lie, at least put in the effort.

I remember the look on his face when he told me about it. He was terrified. He had no idea if the treatment plan he had was going to work or how long he had left if it didn't. (It did work. He was declared cancer-free last December.)

That shit isn't something you throw around for clout or sympathy. That ruins lives.

I was at one point willing to give Lily the benefit of the doubt-- she had a weird mole, maybe it was benign, she misunderstood the diagnosis. But then she kept digging. I know it doesn't need to be reiterated, but what a scumbag.

I think I've said it before but: I believe that she did have stage 1 skin cancer. She had a couple vague tumblr posts before the Madhouse announcement about "get that weird mole checked out" and going to the hospital for a procedure. I don't doubt that she had the mole removed and that was it. What I can't wrap my head around is why fucking lie about it beyond that. She made these posts close together and not very long before the PokeMadhouse comic came out, like 2 months tops. She can call everyone Armchair MDs or Google Doctors all she wants it doesn't erase the fact that this shit doesn't add up. And again with the obvious lies that can be easily disproven by going through her own blog. I just... genuinely don't understand how someone can be like this.
