Jerry Peet / Lily Orchard / Lily Peet / Valkyrstudios / Bhaalspawn / Tara Callie / "Mod Ebara" - Sociopath writer of pedophile fanfiction and cartoon reviews, faked getting raped to force a divorce, then mobbed and gaslit their ex off Tumblr, satanist neoliberal of the MovieSlob variety, also wants to fuck dogs and/or pokemon

Lily's interests lay in the small scale. interpersonal relationships or coming of age stories with no real bite whatsoever. So yes, a character disliking someone is a plot to her. Hell it could be a whole season!

Her latest example, Merci Devil :drink:, is an anime by the name of A Place Further than the Universe

The driving plot of this low stakes coming-of-age travel porn anime can be summed up in these two minutes I scrubbed through myself:

MC is a sunny naive optimist, the second is the tall stoic with hidden emotions. It's all well trodden paths anime has done forever. This is nothing new.

Yet Lily blames weebs for not recommending her it until now.

Lolo now speaks like her, with more mush mouth.
From what I’ve read about plots and character development, for protagonists to work, they have to have a “lie” to believe. By the end of the story, they either stop believing the lie or keep believing it. There’s usually a reason (from “ew, lesbians” to “I’m obsessed with this person”) That’s the point of character driven conflict. There’s a bunch of writerly mumbo-jumbo about static and dynamic characters but I won’t bore you with it.

Yet Lily blames weebs for not recommending her it until now.

Because Lily's always been so open about how much she loves recommendations, especially for anime.

And I know you weren't replying to me on that count, but the jew stuff and the Japan stuff both have one thing in common.

They both start with J!

Wait, no, hold on.

They're both shit she started screeching about when lefties on Twitter decided that those criticisms couldn't be racist.

I think she's always hated Japanese anime and it's probably just rooted in it being the cool thing when she was in high school. At that time things like Dragon Ball Z, Naruto, and Full Metal Alchemist were all the rage among the high school crowd, whereas Lily just really wanted to talk about Hamtaro. I don't doubt this was one of those things that effectively shut her off from her peers, she just had no common interests to talk about, so that winds up being sublimated from 'I hate the other kids' to 'I have to hate everything they love to prove I'm better than them'.

I'm also not discounting racism, because Lily is absolutely racist, but I suspect it's more related to opposition defiant disorder continuing to bleed from her hatred of other kids than necessarily being grossed out by Asians. She's chronically stupid. For you folks only recently joining us, I just want you to be aware that until the last couple of years Lily thought that all black people came from Africa and that 'Africa' was a unified cultural experience. Racist or retarded? Why not both?

As for the Jews, she... yeah she has expressed a weird hatred toward Jewish creators, although it's hard to know if that's actually rooted in anti-Semitism or just a consequence of Jews often having an outsized presence in the entertainment industry. Her hatred of Rebecca Sugar seems to be more that Sugar is a successful queer woman (if there's one thing I'm certain Lily hates, it's women) and that she might not have even known she was Jewish until some people started pointing out how distasteful her 'Rebecca Sugar is a Nazi apologist' line was.

But she also liked co-opting Jewish-ness for her own stories-- she retconned Valithria into being a Romani-Jew survivor of the Holocaust at a time shortly after she started being accused of anti=Semitism, which she probably thought would come across as 'I can't hate the Jews when my favorite pet character is one!' but definitely reads as extremely disrespectful. (She did the same thing with Aliana, at that; when people started accusing her of fetishizing black people she suddenly came out with Aliana and used her as proof that she isn't racist. Even though she would then proceed to fetishize the shit out of Aliana, too.

In regards to the current conflict, Lily waited for about two months before she came out in support of Palestine, meaning she was waiting to see what the 'correct' opinion was. When it comes to any kind of true controversy in the real world (as opposed to just having bad opinions about cartoons) she's remarkably cowardly, waiting for the right signal to decide what her opinion is and changing that opinion when it's clear the people she wants to appeal to have changed theirs. For such a loudmouth she's absolutely pathetic.

These... These aren't synopsis'. A character disliking another character is not a plot.

It could be!

But yeah it's extremely funny to see five synopses about how a character is a big meanie pants trying to drive a wedge between the sisters and then suddenly "Then Niva completes her Avatar training." Really drives home where the priorities are.

Niva comforts Lavi as she recovers from the fight with Kanna, as well as comes to grips with the fact that she had let Kanna abuse her for so long.

Lily figure out your fucking antecedents, I don't know who's coming to grips with Kanna or who Kanna 'abused for so long'. By the way her summaries are written it sounds like this conflict took place over the course of two days, and given that Lavi and Niva are so attached to each other it's inconceivable that Navi only just met Kanna but Lavi's been seeing her for ages (if I'm understanding the dynamics properly). She really just cannot spend two minutes asking 'Does this make sense?'

It could be!
A character's feelings are not a plot, they're barely a statement. Certainly not enough to be a description of an episode. Plot comes from what caused these feelings, what they do with these feelings, what situation caused these feelings to come to light to the other character, how they react to it and what situation is used to illustrate it. Like, to use a family guy example for Lilly's sake, the b-plot of 'Jerome Is the New Black' isn't that Quagmire hates Brian, it's that Brian is trying to make Quagmire like him in increasingly desperate and scummy ways until Quagmire yells at him.

She really just cannot spend two minutes asking 'Does this make sense?'
Optimistic of you to think logic ever comes into the equation.

Lily has said this is supposed to be a small scale low stakes version of the Avatar story, but the Avatar in concept is the opposite of small scale. And what should be an arc about becoming independent concludes with a third party being prevented from separating them. She write anything without devolving into stream of conscious throwing shit at the wall.

In other news another JoontheKing comment section is full of requests for Lily.

I hope anyone that covers Lily in the future treats Courtney like a crazy person. It's the only rational way to cover the story considering how unreliable she is as a source and how often she threatens people. Just fucking ignore Courtney use KP and the gossip blogs as a source. God knows the thread's too long to parse what's important.

If only we could get a new opener for the thread and a moderator edit it yeah it be alot easier to navigate.

I'd say mention Courtney in passing at most/minimum because yeah she's clearly unhinged and no one in her own inner circle is willing to do anything about it. Britt on her blog said she "tried" but I don't buy it.

Weebs recommanded that show when it came out tho. That show is not a hidden gem

This. It can work as a subplot, but it shouldn't be the main focus of said characters story and definitely shouldn't take up the main plot of 5 episodes in a row. But then it's really hard for people like Lily that another character can just dislike their precious MC and be done with it. No, that character has to redeem themself for committing the crime of disliking the wrong person.

For some reason can't reply to @ceramicfigurines

What cracks me up when it comes to the trashier side of anime she disavows is just how many little sister shows there are. Heck, not even the trashy ones, there's pretty protective older siblings allllllll over anime. I'd think Lily was keeping her distance for plausible deniability if it weren't for the fact she can't stop herself from writing incest-tinged fiction.

Honestly, it also does make me wonder if part of her issue is being able to parse genre from medium? She seems like she applies her desires for an episodic kids show to absolutely fucking *everything* as long as it's an animated work. The only stories outside her list of wants she seems to engage with are in the realm of gaming, she still misunderstands those stories but doesn't hate them for *being stories.* Which, considering how many Kingdom Hearts games she suggests skipping without even a summary, makes me wonder if she just gets really into the gameplay and builds her own story in her head like she's playing with dolls lol.
I mentioned this before in a case where she was being deliberately misleading on genres (if you've never seen Dunmeshi or Steven Universe then there's no way to verify whether she's right or not on the "vibe" the story gives her) but at times you do recognize how little she actually talks about story structures like The Hero's Journey, Save the Cat, three-act, et cetera. It's just easy to say that she's deathly allergic to plot, because every time she rewrites a story, be it Avatar or Star Wars or Harry Potter, she just cannot have an actual story. And if it is a story, it can't have restrictions or limitations like genres or TV executives trying to kill off good shows for Russia and China bucks. Rose Quartz should have been a ruthless leader a la Game of Thrones, damn it! Wait, it's a kids' show? Well, stop putting real-world dilemmas into kids' shows!

Lily's interests lay in the small scale. interpersonal relationships or coming of age stories with no real bite whatsoever. So yes, a character disliking someone is a plot to her. Hell it could be a whole season!

Sadly, it can, but that doesn't mean it should or makes very much sense; Lily is atrocious with pacing a story. I think my real gripe is just the fact Avatar is so interesting of a premise and Lily just wants it to be a coffee shop AU with no real consequences or character growth. I came across this tweet once where it went along the lines of "Lily Orchard liking something you made has to be the worst consequence ever" and I think it's true. If I ever made something and she either praised it (I'd never make art again), or she stripped the story down to nothing but a setpiece for her incestuous sisters (probably still never make art again), I'm not sure how I'd recover.

Africa' was a unified cultural experience.
I suddenly remember the near “civil” war Nigeria and Ghana almost had over Jollof rice.
she just cannot have an actual story.
Lily could fit in with authortubers (writers who post YouTube videos about their writing or experiences as writers) or booktubers (people who post videos about books and book-related controversies). Most of them prefer vibes over plot.

(But that would require Lily to, at minimum, buy books she doesn’t read)

The thing is 'Character A dislikes Character B' is a plot. It's a simple plot, but it is a plot. The conflict comes from these two characters who don't get along, and how will they resolve it. Will they be able to reconcile their differences? Do they come to a mutual understanding? Do they respect one another, even if they don't really like them. Or can they simply never get along and have to kill one another or something.
Many such Rom-coms are built around this premise. Guy is marrying a girl and her father doesn't like them. This is literally the plot of Shrek 2 and I do not think anyone can argue in good-faith that Shrek 2 has no plot.

The problem with Lily's writing isn't that she likes sit-com plots instead of long, over-arching plots with twists and turns. It's that nothing happens within even that simple framework and the climax/conclusion of her conflicts are always abrupt and written with a palpable disinterest in resolving that conflict. For some of her stories, she may as well have just resolved the conflict off-screen if she wasn't going to put any effort in. She creates conflicts but doesn't really want a conflict so she resolves it as quickly as with as little effort for the character as possible.

I know in reality it probably wouldn't change a thing but a video creator like joon making a "nothing but the facts and important events" type video on lily could be what finally hurts her in some way. It would be hard to deny shit from your past when a popular creator makes a video showing all of it with proof and lily's usual "oh you got that info from the farms so it doesnt count/ you hate me for being trans thats why you used the farms" wont work since Joon probably isnt gonna deadname her or anything.

If I ever have to clip on Dailymotion I use this site: https://www.savethevideo.com/dailymotion-downloader
Let's you cut and download specific segments of any video.
Thanks!
Let's see this darling in action :drink:

Recordings below.
I guess Lilly is being a lazy tool again and just deleting all her newest VODs going forward.
And I don't know why my phone charger started having issues about an hour and a half in. Sorry about that.
She writes an outline for 4 seasons worth of a show in under an hour and half. Jesus Christ.

All your hear is her kyboard crying in pain, meanwhile chat is repeating her takes on Avatar from previous videos or Tumblr posts.

Sometimes chat tries to give suggestions for the episode titles, oblivious that Lily wants only references to incest media.

Lily: The idea is- I want every title to reference a media that strongly involves siblings in some ways.

Only lexyr and NoobLord9002 get the incest references and egg Lily on, while the rest of chat is confused and feels like they'r missing out on a joke. When chat asks about it Lily just tells them not to look it up.

It's a bit disturbing honestly, firstly with how many media referencing incest Lily can think of off the top of her head, and how uncomfortable chat seems to be about being exposed yet left out about clearly inappropriate stuff.

Lily: Basically *nervous chuckle* Kaana is everyone who looks at Lavi and Niva and says they are too close.

And the projection that implies.
:stress:

When she's done she writes more of her script for A Place Further than the Universe.

Lolo joins stream. They watch the anime together.

Mikay joins and she sounds tired as fuck. Then they all watch the anime together. With the charging window covering the screen, all you hear is the weird anime moaning.

At the end of the stream Lolo needs to throw shade at weebs and how good anime could be if it wouldn't cater to them.
Lily steps on her pedestal to talk how the only good anime is one that are directed by women not just written by women. Dungeon Meshi was not good, not because it was written by a woman, but because it was done by Trigger and they put the garbage in.
Lolo repeats the sentiment but says "women centric anime" instead of "women directed" and gets a harsh correction from Lily, to which she apologises.

Probably a coincidence but the way Mikail and Lolo reply identically to Lily's statement one after the other is unnerving.

Anyway she says good shonen made by women is rare but one of the best shonen of all time was written by a woman.
You've probably never heard of it, it's about some crippled loser and his brother.

But of course it's very easy to write off an entire genre and dismiss its fans when you only watch anime with lesbian incest in it.

It's a hard life out there for a Lily Alt.

We did. She specifically asked people to go through all of it. What we found were testimonials with no evidence, chat logs with no names or pfps attached to them, chat logs that showed the opposite of what the 'victim' was alleging in the first place, or claims of abuse that were just Lily being rude to people.
We've seen the evidence over and over again, and you claim we're in a cult because the idea we could look at the evidence and not immediately and blindly accept it impossible for you to believe.
You see people dunking on her media takes because that's what they actually care about. They don't care about the abuse accusations. They never did. The accusations existed solely to pedojacket her for her media takes.
Get help.

I know there are more important things to talk about than just Lily Orchard's media takes, but I remembered something and I need to talk about it.In her recent Hazbin Hotel video, there are multiple points where she just gets things really wrong. Like when she said that Vaggie was a sex worker/prostitute (I forget the exact word she used) and she said that it was mentioned in the pilot. This threw me off because it was never ever said in the pilot, we didn't know anything about Vaggie until the later half of the first season. That's from a fake wiki for a fake fan made version of the show. There were a couple more points she used for reference from this same wiki, and in my opinion, it's indicative of her not actually researching anything. She also words it as if
