I’m no Christian (anymore), but there are countless bible verses about God’s omniscience. That’s part of what makes him God, in the eyes of the religious. I’m not gonna deride Jerry for heresy, in thinking he’s smarter than God (because I seriously don’t care, TJ Kirk probably has the same mindset), but this is just him blasting a load of his ego all over his online presence. It doesn’t make him look smart or w o k e (to the unbiased eye), it makes him look cringe as fuck.

I could go on about how Jerry does make a few decent points in how God doesn’t always do good, despite claiming to be all good, but I don’t want the :neckbeard: emote coming to me. I’ll save it for the Deep Thoughts section.

Does Jerry literally forget that God is also all wise, meaning that he doesn't have to have second thoughts? That's one of his defining traits that he have the best answers to every single problem, there's absolutely no need for second thoughts when you have all of the right answers. And isn't the reason why humans have their privileged checked because we go to overboard, abuse it, or do dumb things with it, but God doesn't since by definition he use it the best way possible. This post was just too retarded really.

I imagined the video and that post probably torpedoed any of peets left over religious fans, assuming they didn't all immediately jump ship after the debacle with Scorcher and the increasingly hostile rhetoric towards conservative types

Given they don’t care that he wrote underaged erotica in Stockholm, he probably just ‘opened their eyes to the truth about God’ or something. I mean, he was apparently able to turn Lizzy agnostic (which in this case means she thinks Jerry makes a good point but, because she probably grew up in a Christian environment, is too stubborn to completely denounce God.)

Honestly, I believe the vast majority of his viewership doesn't even know most of the things he did. It took me months after following him to actually find out who he really was. And given by the fact that most are young, I don't see much of Jerry's fanbase to know him much outside of his videos.

can't speak for tvtropes, but as someone who has watched a shit ton of moviebob videos I can assure you the scripts for a lot of glass of water videos are just a 'find and replace' job from "The big picture" and "in bob we trust" episodes.

To say that strictness is wrong is rich coming from Peet considering he thinks people who disagree with him are ALL wrong and stupid and in some cases should be killed.
Now if that's not strict I don't know what is!
