Jerry appears to hate every book that makes political analogies or has rather complex and nuanced themes behind them for some reason, probably to make him more "identifiable" with his HS sophomore-year audience who need an excuse to fail their Scarlet Letter test.

He's made posts about his disdain for High School readings because they're "boring", but I don't think anyone should lose any sleep over the fact that he thinks books like those are boring, and books like Harry Potter are amazing (which, I'm not saying it's not). So... *shrug*
