Never watched it, so I can't argue the point either way, but Jerry will likely pick the concepts he hates the most and turn them into forty minutes sections with a half hour of Star Wars Prequel in-between. And if there are no lesbians, she'll complain.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I remember someone telling me Mabel is one of the main characters, is a young girl, and is boy crazy. So, if I remember right, she is straight. And since she is a straight, young child Jerry will throw a shit fit.

Or like he did with SU he's going to build a narrative around petty and nitpicky things, and use that to fling shit at the crew who's moved on in life. Maybe she'll give them a break cause they're not Rebecca Sugar. Either way, the internet has much more unanimous love for Gravity falls than it does Steven Universe, which is most likely what Lily wants, an even heavier shit storm.
