Eh, depends on the sort of story you wanna tell. Big difference between a regular story and one that relies on visual communication. And also, Samurai Jack. Sometimes the visuals are what mattered most to the people behind the scenes.

Hmmmm
So the league isn’t cool with people fucking Pokémon, but should you happen to impregnate one, the hybrid will be fine. Legally human.

Somebody double-check for me: In Hazbin Hotel, do Charlie or Vaggie ever call each other "girlfriends" or "lesbians"? If not, then I'm shocked Lily isn't complaining about ambiguous "hetero bullshit."

Correct if I’m wrong but I don’t believe they ever did. The only solid confirmation we got was a Twitter post made by Viv on National Coming Out Day. Then again, this whole Hazbin Hotel deal has shown how inconsistent Lily can be with her beliefs.

Sounds like Peet is conflating writing in a visual medium being exclusively the spoken dialogue or what’s only included in a script. But in visual mediums, animation especially, writing and visuals are often interchangeable or even inseparable since shot framing, camera angles, and editing are the visual tools used to give character insight or thematic relevance. Careless visual storytelling or sloppy editing can hurt even the tightest scripts.

Shit, no wonder Peet’s “comics” have so many levels of what-the-fuckery that seem to go straight over his head: he’s so focused on his shitty dialogue that he doesn’t even notice that the visuals tell a very different story.

Those are kinda his thoughts on everything and why he hates tone policing.

He doesn’t understand that sometimes how you say something matters more than what is actually said.

It’s why people tend to be more understandable to LGBT issues if some scrawny, pastey, troon isn’t screaming it at them and accusing them of bigotry.

I just watched it.
The most we have in terms of dialogue is that Vaggie calls Charlie "hun" at 6:22, Katie Killjoy says she doesn't "touch the gays" at 7:05, and if you really want to stretch it, Angel Dust asks if Vaggie "trusts any man? Any men? Men?" at 23:10.

I wouldn't count the first one. Many people (myself included) use "hun" as a term of endearment when talking to others, especially here in the southern US. Hell, I was at Waffle House last night and the cashier called me "hun" after I paid for my food.

Ok the second one is kinda weirding me out a little, specifically as to why Lily would even want to go near the series after the whole "I don't touch the gays" bit. I'm only saying this because isn't this the sort of thing she'd despise?
Oh wait she's contrarian never mind

Apparently, it doesn't bother him because he knows that reporter women is suppose to be a bitch and that you're suppose to see as such. But, yeah it's mostly because he's contrarian.

Just thought I'd pop in with something heartwarming. Our very own Josh Scorcher, entirely loathed by the tard this thread constantly documents and laughs at, is getting married.
What a time to be alive. With all the bullshit in the world, there's always a little bit of good.

Congratulations, Josh, and I truly mean that. Being married can be the most wonderful thing in the world. I wish you and Aramau a long, happy life together. ❤

Get fucked, Jerry.
I wonder how long it takes before Lily starts trash talking his marriage?

Gotta love that...detailed description of an animal trafficking sex dungeon.
Why?
And you know I wonder, the government condemning this sex stuff is the same government who would be the bane of her existence if her relationship with her own Gardevoir is discovered. How does Lily see the laws that prevent mating bonds from happening? She's only said it's illegal, because there's a grooming dynamic, a relationship like that is seen as depraved by society and yet she is in one, and it's seen as all soft and wholesome.

I love how every other page of this comic spends the majority of it's effort trying to convey how hot Jerry thinks he is when in reality he has the face of a dumpster truck decal.

Looks like another friendship has come apart at the seems. Also the 'Good Stuff' video on Orchard's channel is gone. Did anyone archive it?

What is with Lily and artists?
