There's nothing necessarily wrong with being apathetic or not interesting in someone's work. We've all had that friend who keeps yammering about things you could give a fuck about

But considering the claims Lily has made, and the shit she's thrown at several animation veterans, it just begs the question, why is she opposed to watching cartoons that are regarded as the animation pantheon?
I figure it's because there's no discourse around them. She can't sound smarter or look better by condescending about them, and she can't be an ankle biter on any massive argument. (Also there's no lesbians).

Also, what fucking critic refuses to engage with the medium they talk about this much? Like imagine Adam from YMS refusing to watch an art film that a bunch of people discuss and enjoy because...eh....

It's perfectly valid not to have any interest in Tartakovsky's shows, movies or animation style even as an animation fan. But the contributions he's made to modern animation are undeniable.

All these bitchy one-word answers makes me wonder why Jerry even bothers answering some of these asks, especially since he complains about getting them. Is he like Alex Mahan? He can't help but have an autistic compulsion to answer every single message he gets?

And that's why I don't want her to ignore it. Maybe it isn't kosher to say this sort of thing here, but I care about trans people and the people who represent them. Lily is dangerous. I'm not going to deny her identity, I use she/her for a reason, she shouldn't have power. She should stay away from kids. She needs to address it.

Trans is a get out of jail free card (sometimes literally) to insane hyper liberals who are more interested in being on the forefront of the next big rights movement than they are actual social justice or common sense. Cause progress is just a straight line toward a perfect utopia and they want their smug bragging rights they were on the "right side of history". Hopefully once the troonery trend collapses they'll learn their lesson.

Given that her Star Wars related videos tend to have some of the lowest views on her channel (especially if they relate to The Old Republic) I kinda wanna call bullshit.

(Edit: Most of these have been up for a year and she can just barely get most of her audience of 120k subscribers to actually watch her Star Wars videos, although I at least stand corrected that they tend to do gangbusters compared to most of her Disney and Pony shit these days.)

Why Lana at the lead? Because Lana is a companion character in the Old Republic who's sole purpose is to swoon over how amazing the player character is while pretending to be a big bad sith with the illusion of nuance. So, she's basically what Rey is in Lilly's fanfic. Seriously, I like The Old Republic, but fucking hell is Lana such an empty character. But of course since she's there to play to the player's ego and never disagree, she's the fan favorite creator's pet who'll never be killable.

Don't remember the entirety of her blandest picks, but I do remember Kylo, Maul and Obi Wan being on there.

Nah, you're cool. That's an admirable thing. Whatever anybody's opinion about Lily's trans status I think everybody here agrees that she's not a good person and the power she exhibits over her fanbase is toxic and dangerous.

Unfortunately getting her to address it is highly unlikely. It's her modus-- lie, occlude, deflect. She's had instances where she contradicts herself in Asks within the same week, and the thing is she knows her actual audience is either so enamored with her they'll never question it, or she skirts beneath most people's awareness so much they'll never notice. All you can really do is spread information and hope it becomes too much for people outside of her bubble to ignore-- enough that people within her bubble will notice the drama and perhaps start asking questions.

Even if she ignores them (which she does regularly for questions she can't answer snidely), maybe people will start asking why.

This goes back to the fact that she deleted her World of Warcraft necrophile elf fic-- she wasn't getting enough attention so it wasn't worthwhile. She's only pursuing The Sith Resurgence because people are 'vindicating' her. Although I'm not sure what's being vindicated here. But it looks like she was quietly holding TSR hostage until she got enough positive feedback.
