Remember, these kinds of posts aren't actually 'sneak peeks' from anything she's working on. An idea gets in her head and she just pounds out a few crappy paragraphs like "wouldn't this be interesting?" or "I thought of a cute/funny scene!" [sub]cute/funny not guaranteed[/sub]

This won't wind up in the fanfic, but she's posting it on the Tumblr because, yeah, her audience will absolutely give her asspats for the Stunning and Brave decision to make Aliana autistic (although I thought this read more like she had ADHD when she was young-- easily distracted, repeating actions because she can't remember if she already did them, self-stimulating.... of course, Aliana was a child growing up in absolute isolation and she was bored out of her fucking skull, NONE of this is unusual for a child).

Adding 'my brain just works differently' is the only intimation that she's supposed to be autistic, and just having it in dialogue is something her audience will eat up without actually making her incorporate it into the narrative.

Honestly this would've been an interesting tack and actually partly explained Aliana's pig-headedness-- she was isolated all her life and on top of that has autism, so she actually has legitimate, massive problems being able to empathize with others (as opposed to just being so right all the time that she's just superior to everybody by default). But no, it's just a little bit of bait to her fanbase by presenting a character trait in the most cowardly way possible. (That is, saying 'this is a thing' in an environment that only her dedicated followers will see and never having to put it in front of a real audience.)

There is something to be said about how quick Liliana is to dismiss the words of a black man talking on the context of Black History Month about how the thing she, a white pasty person on every sense that matters, says is racist is not is not actually racist and, not only that, he supports it with facts instead of feelings.

It looks like it's less about saying anything about racism or protect minorities, who're openly telling you they don't need you speaking for them anyway, and more about just being right for it's own sake and protecting Liliana's ego alone.

• Tumblr's askbox character limit is no place for discussion. atleast on twitter you can make a thread. If you male a chainlink of asks to a tumblr ask box, lily can pick and choose any of them, discard the reast or when she's bored just ignore the reast of your asks. you either have to fitt everything in 200 or so words or fuck you.
• when a tumbr post is deleted, it can well be deleted off of anybody's responces/shares of it. so if she doesnt like a specific narrative she made before, she can just whipe all traces of it (unless there's a certain group of people who archive everything because they understand this is a common thing for her to do but nahhh, who's do that)
• Tumblr is also hell for talking. the dm system is meh and you cant really 'comment' under a post like how you can on facebook, instagram, twitter, or youtube. Tumblr wasnt made for the kind of discussions lily tries to have, it was made for a one off post of whatever thing your interested in, fanfiction and whatever other spergitory. Lily's field of work (lol) NEEDS a solid foundation for discussion, but she doesnt allow it and she can twist tumblr's UI to fit her narrative and has cracked youtube in a way that allows her to controll the narrative there also.

If that is what Liliana thinks is vagueposting then she must have been isolated from fandom and active discourse for years, because those kind of takes are not even emblematic of Liliana or her audience anymore.
