After watching the latest video from JCS (Sarah Boone) something felt incredibly off and I was curious why Kizzume's voice on the video prior to that one (Grant Amato), which was not a new video as many claimed and just another butchered edit by JCS, had Kizzume voice overs used only at the start and the end of the video, with the AI bot clearly doing everything in the middle.

Strangest thing is if you listen to the original Grant Amato video you will very soon discover as I had that the bot is almost saying Kizzume's lines word for word. Why couldn't they just use that instead of going into all that effort to have a bot say the exact same thing? My best guess is that they were trying to train their audience to get used to the new AI bot since many retards in the comments were arguing and claiming it was actually Kizzume throughout the entire video.

They were able to pass this bullshit even to people still subbed to their Patreon under the guise of having to 'remove or reupload and edit the video due to Youtube guidelines. Yet no one who reacts to those videos ever have any issues and neither do any of the JCS inspired channels. Every single video taken down was by JCS, Youtube never struck them.

After seeing that Kizzume was actually credited on the latest video I had to go and find as much as I could since he clearly has not voiced anything in it and lo and behold he in fact confirmed earlier today that it was in fact a bot designed to replicate his voice but he couldn't go into the reason why.

Something shady is going behind the scenes at JCS which is unfortunate. They were such a great channel and effectively popularized this sub genre on Youtube, so much so in fact that I don't think the people behind it all were prepared for the amount of cash flow that starting pouring in and the fallout that would cause amongst them.

After watching the most recent video today it is apparent that even looking past the Kizzume text to speech bot whatever is going on behind the scenes has clearly affected the quality of their work. It explains why it took so long for them to upload an actual new video and not a heavily gutted version of a previous video that had been deleted from their channel.

The issues are greater than I initially thought they were as I had believed it had been due to Kizzume being busy with work outside of JCS which had delayed things or some sort of contract renegotiation issue with him, however it's very clear in their recent video that the script is off and nowhere near the level of quality from their prior uploads. I highly doubt that it is the same people analyzing these cases and writing the script anymore.

There's no nuance or creativity put into it as in prior videos and a noticeable lack of knowledge and insight on interrogation techiques. All you get is the occasional interjection from the AI bot that chimes in to state the absolute obvious, essentially putting in almost the same amount of effort as one of their Reactors.

Also as a side note the jannies have been working overtime on the JCS reddit since that video premiered, entire posts and comments are being deleted every second for simply discussing the changes in the video and JCS in general.

It's been hilarious to sit back and watch how hard they have been working to sweep up this mess :story:

This is just bizarre shit. I had assumed that JCS was a one man shop (or I guess maybe 2 if they had a paid editor), and that it was a pretty easy gig that just hit at the right time with the right tone. Like Zefrank, but even easier, since they don't even have to really fact check anything. You just get the videos, chop them up and analyze them, then read a script over them. What's the damn problem (other than getting interesting interviews to start with). Now it's some sort of cabal of weirdos doing weird shit and going nutzoid.

At least there's Matt Orchard. Although, like I said, I'm also fine with new JCS vids, even if they use AI VO since it's still interesting. Hell I'd be fine with just the interviews with all the boring shit edited out and the results posted.

JCS posted a video about a year or do ago ranting about how YouTube was buttsexing his videos because reasons. No proof, no screengrabs of the back end showing strikes. I challenged them for that. Not long after, the video disappeared.

There is something fucky about JCS. Why lie about shit like that? Does he think he's DeadBug?

I'm sure a lot of people here are aware of Matt Orchard's youtube channel. Matt recently put 2 videos on his Patreon explaining the lore behind his channel, and apparently the JCS team was involved in his early uploads. Matt's video on Anthony Palma was made at the request of the JCS team because they were considering hiring Matt to make content for the JCS Patreon. There were even early drafts of the video with Kizzume doing all the voiceover narration, but that was later scrapped. In the end Matt didn't get hired, and JCS gave him permission to upload the Anthony Palma video on his own channel instead of the JCS patreon.

It sounds to me like JCS may have hired a bunch of new people in 2020 to start working on the videos, which would explain why the channel has changed so much in the recent years.

Matt Orchard has proved himself to be superior in every way to JCS, there are some vids that are a bit more mediocre like the Darrell Brooks one where he sidetracked and talked about sovereign citizens for the first half of the video instead of on the nigger chimping out in court but for the most part he is on point.

Have those vids been uploaded anywhere or are they only accessible on his Patreon? I have archived all his content and Patreon vids but missed out on that one and a few of the more recent Patreon ones and keen to watch it now.

Edit: I managed to hunt down the delisted links to the last couple of Matt Orchard's vids off his Patreon where he goes into the history with JCS, just in case anyone else was interested in watching it.
