Jim Can't Swim - Psychological deep dives into the criminally inept psyche

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
Why does everyone on here keep saying "him" when it's public knowledge that it's ran by 6 people, not including the nose ring narrator. Two of them are cops and three are in the military. The other is a stand up comedian.

Hate to necro a thred but, can anyone refer similar content creators?
I enjoy brief case because he looks at old crimes, but, im getting tired of sifting through chicks drinking tea as they post hour long, pt3s of cases that another person wrapped up in an hour.

If you're more into psychology, Todd Grande does analyses of famous serial killers and criminals. Canada's The Fifth Estate also has some interrogation/commentary vids, although it's mostly straight news documentaries. That's all I can think of for now.

How much data? f2p DDL options include the site formerly known as megaupload and anonfiles. A torrent archive would be good if seeded.
Ripping from Patreon takes a long time but I've got almost all of them done now. It's under 14GB right now with 8 more videos to go.

I don't really have any interest in just dropping a load of Patreon content that's still readily available on their page. Just the lost content adds up to under 4GB.

As for what's in there, I've managed to dig up the uncut versions of the Casey Anthony and Stephen McDaniel videos (the current YouTube uploads had content trimmed down after their initial uploads), the original Jodi Arias 2 parter, the original McDaniel video that was in the Most Compelling Interrogations series with Rachel Wade and Raymond Gates, the original Lazarus, Rafferty, and Dippolito videos, the Lifer Perspective, and the Brooke Houts video.

Can't publicly condone DMCA excursions,. However the lost/forgotten stuff has no other source, hope you are able to put something together. JCS is worth archiving imho.

The most interesting stuff in there is the Rachel Wade/Raymond Gates bit and the cut content from the McDaniel video.

Big news. I spent all of today digging fervently for the remaining lost JCS videos and I've found almost all of them, including the legendarily elusive Venables and Thompson video. My second volume of lost episodes is linked in the post, and I won't accidentally nuke it this time.

Fans of the channel might notice that the video "Guilty Until Proven Innocent" is not on YouTube anymore and wasn't moved to Patreon. A moderator of the Jim Can't Swim subreddit who is allegedly in contact with the JCS team says that it'll be back up (link below) but as of this moment I declare it yet another lost episode and have included it in the archive.

Patreon members may also have noticed that Chris Watts Part 4 is back in the "Old Content" section. That video fucking sucks but good to know regardless.

Lastly, in my process of ripping videos from wistia I noticed that JDownloader was making note of comments on video files. Every video had a comment, but only either "a video" or the vastly more interesting "a Karsen's first project video". Karsen is the name of one of the people on the JCS team, and has a dead reddit account (Karsen_JCS) with an interesting post linked below. the "a Karsen's first project video" tag is on the Venables video and merely a month before it was posted made this post on the JCS subreddit: https://www.reveddit.com/v/jimcantswim/comments/eghtvw/delays/

My initial hypothesis was that Karsen was the primary contributor to the Venables video and got shitcanned a while after that reddit post, leading to its eventual removal. That turned out to be bogus though because the dates don't quite line up and many other videos have that tag and all of them are still available on Patreon. Since it was originally titled "The Most Compelling Police Interrogations Pt. 17", and was wrapped alongside a bit of topical Weinstein commentary and another case, it's more likely to be getting the same treatment as Dixon, Rafferty, Lazarus, Dippolito, McDaniel, and oh so many others; that being a rework into a larger standalone episode - probably for YouTube.

Anyway here's the archive. Enjoy. https://mega.nz/file/uu5jQIhZ#Qd_dqSrTAdPZqdtj3hlgemq5OFtsXgN5bNxYcf7RPnE

I'm watching the 'There's Something About Casey..." Video and I'll be honest, I checked out when the case was happening. It just wasn't in my wheel spokes. I'm watching this and I'm just left wondering just how in the fuck did this cunt get away scott free? Jesus Hussein Christ, fucking Florida.

IIRC, shit prosecution charged her with first degree murder instead of third-degree or something. If you kept up with the Floyd trial, Chauvin getting three different charges seems to be learning from this mistake. If you can’t make one charge stick, throw the book until one does.

Correction: Anthony was charged with first degree, aggravated child abuse, aggravated manslaughter, and providing false information to law enforcement. Only the final charge stuck. Defense exploited the juries confusion surrounding reasonable doubt and the prosecution really dropped the ball.

Does anyone have the video passwords for JCS's Patreon videos? Half the videos don't have their passwords in the descriptions.

I just checked every single video on the Patreon and all of them have working passwords in their descriptions.
