Tbf, Keem has admitted to watching and enjoying Jim's content. Considering how obvious this targeting is, it isn't surprising to me that Keem would step in and help out someone that he feels deserves it. Keem has done a lot of shitty stuff, but he's been pretty consistent when it comes to backing up the people he chooses to associate with, and right now (to some extent) that's Jim/Ethan/etc.

I thought Jim doesn't rely on the internet for his primary income. Btw, I even remember the good ol' times when he was ranting about people with Patreon accounts (and now he has one himself, lol) and monetization in general.

Tbh, idk what his income is like. But his anti-patreon stance really only applied to people in the midst of pushing a pseudo-political movement (ie. Gamergate). From what I understand, he thought it was bullshit to try and monetize a cause like that.
