What happens when someone tells him it's a TV show and none of it has actually happened? I can't imagine he hasn't heard that before.

To him, he sees it as a TV show that is using stories and aspects from his wife's time in Equestria. So its a little like a documentary or reality show for him. So now that things like princess Twilight Sparkle and Equestria Girls conflict with his headcannon, its turning him off from the show. Now that TS is royalty with a big responsibility and the movie teasing about a potential boyfriend that didn't go through, why would she want to spend most of her time with some creepy, headcase in a world she can't communicate in?

Just from this thread and what I know about ye olde tugboat/disability (and what a pain in the ass the department of social services can be), I'm going to wager it's mental issues. It's much much easier to get disability for a mental illness than it is for anything physical and a stomach issue would have to be pretty bad for social services to consider it enough to prevent a person from working.

It is in the listed impairments for SSA. The severity has to be pretty high, though.
I think it's likely his issues are mental, though, considering the severity of those is not really in much doubt.

Jin has the same issue as Taxman, where his hallucinations are more likable and, for that matter, more sane than he is.
If you could somehow replace his actual personality with his hallucinations and then somehow get the result to act sane, you'd actually have a functional human in there somewhere.

He has some whack belief that his doll contains the actual spirit/soul of Twilight. (egads)
So all he has to do, is get a new plush, and the pony spirit will re-inhabit this new body.
It's super madness at it's very best.
Why Jin is the only brony Twilight chooses to be with is a mystery...

I feel like he would flip out though. He talks about how if he went to prison he wouldn't be able to bring twilight with him, which leads me to believe that he feels that downs horse plush is the only place he can really feel her or something.

I remember before he pissed off the waifu community, a woman who claimed to have a relationship with Rainbow Dash called him on this. When Jin was telling her and others didn't have the true pony and how delusional they were (only him and his close friends), she angerly asked him why would TS spend her life with a dirty, druggie with no job like him. (And her relationship with RD seemed a lot more stable and mutual.) That shut him up.
