Up until a few years ago he had a girlfriend. Then he dumped her after he thought his toy was talking to him. I think there's something far more integral to how fucked up his brain is.
I know schizophrenia is the popular go-to when making fun of someone who talks to himself, but honestly I think he might be schizoid or schizotypal. He has an unhealthy obsession with inanimate objects. He definitely has a behavior disorder, but unless he starts painting the walls with his own shit, I don't think he has a neurodegenerative disease like schizophrenia (look at Terry Davis for an actual shizo case).
