As far as I remember from post Bridechu made about Jin, there was mention of abuse he had gone through. Then again, one has to wonder where it comes from, the claims I mean. If it came from Jin, one would take it with a grain of salt for whatever reason, be it the feeling that he would be exaggerating or outright making it up.
