in money that is gonna be very abstract to you because no one here seems to understand a word I say.

Think about this, lets say a studio like Disney is a country with a same land mass the size of Russia. One script leaked on the Internet is like loosing a parcel about the size of Easter Island.

Now think of 963 as a country with a land mass the size of the state of Rhode Island. A leaked script would be like the fall of a nation.

Now do you get it or do I need a map of Russia?
How is losing your script going to sink you?
  • Are other people going to copy your ideas damaging your brand or confusing your advertising investment? Probably not, ideas are cheap there is a guy with a good idea every block in LA.
  • Some scripts are very valuable because they come from top writers who have a proven track record of being associated with highly profitable properties. Same reason we pay big hollywood stars big bucks. To get Arnold to do a scene on your film will probably cost a lot, to get me to do it wouldn't be any harder than giving me a sandwich with bacon and convincing me that my schedule allows it. Your script, like me can be exchanged for bacon, black forest ham, whole grain bread, with bacon, spinach, and swiss cheese.
  • Anyone who has interest in reading your script ahead of time is probably interested in seeing your movie, they're not going to just say, "man I was dying to know what's happening next and now I know" you're very obscure joe.
You're not russia or chode island and movie studios are not countries they're banks with connections. The best "credit score" you can get is having people already associated with past successful properties associated with yours, script secrecy is an inconsequential predictor of success, not factored as part of the "credit score". "Secrets" are just marketing gimmicks doesn't matter how well they're kept.

So Joe please answer:
  • What do you think this forum is about?
  • Why do you think you're here?
  • Why do you think we're here?
  • Why is your thread here?
  • What are we doing together?
I wanna know what you think is happening here.

All he knows it that it's the only forum he's never been banned from and probably confused by that.
He's not really mean and he doesn't really fuck things up... he's just. Hhahaha I don't know, crazy, weird? I can't imagine banning him but I've never encountered him elsewhere.

I don't know who this guy is, but if he ever needs a camera or computer, he's got my money.

I'd like to start a GoFundMe as well as launch a new fund in my portfolio to support this fellow! This is a guy that gets things done! In fact, I'm wondering if we can't pool our remaining resources and have this man shoot our Unknown Creature 2 sequel? I think we all have pieces of the puzzle -- shooting script, concept art, and my financial acumen, at least until Johnny Law knocks on my door and leads me away in handcuffs thanks to Joe Cracker -- to make this project really take off.
