So we're never going to find out whether he gets a bike or not?

If I'm understanding the circular logic here, we won't find out until he puts together the DVD extras, which he can't do until he gets a Mac Mini, which he won't get unless we buy it for him, which we won't because he won't get a bike.

Really, if Joe seriously wants to do productivity like this on a Mac, he needs at least a Macbook Pro. Shit is going to take forever to render on the Mac Mini.

Be that as it may, Joe needs to figure out how to work within his means. He's fallen into that trap a lot of wannabe filmmakers fall into: assuming that he can't "get started" until he has the absolute best equipment. As if spending a small fortune on cameras and computers could make up for the fact that your script is unfinished, the set is your backyard, and the cast are your cousins. Someone looking at Joe's work so far wouldn't see anything worth investing money in.

That's too bad. Welcome to reality, bro.
You might want to step up your game though. There's a competing studio being built on the west coast. We hope to have a project worthy of crowd funding completed by the end of next year since we're starting from scratch.
