I think its less being stuck without a paddle and more being too stupid to know how to use it.
Joe would really benefit from some formal training in how computers operate and how to handle video codecs and editing. He can do the basics, but he doesn't understand the premises behind it. That's why he scraps usable computers due to nonexistent "driver issues" and has compatibility problems with his camera after buying a new pc.

Not Joe obviously, but here is the link. His is the $499 model

of note is that the 2014 minis have soldered in RAM, so he's stuck with 4GB and a dual core processor.

My PC only has a 2GB processor, and I knew it was gonna be sodderd in. And I knew it wouldn't get the kind of viruses that windows PCs get and will continue to get with Windows 10.

I haven't gotten a virus since I had Windows ME. I'm curious as to how you got one.
he's irresponsible and dumb.
That's why he bought half the computer he could have gotten (and that's being generous) because he believes the hype and would rather not take precautions.
And macs DO get viruses and he's just the kind of guy who'd catch one.

More like "I knew perfectly well beforehand that the current is strong enough that I really need an outboard motor, but I decided to get this tiny paddle instead. And it was cheaper than normal with all these holes in it."

Processors are not usually measured in performance by how much cache they have.

Also, getting a virus is a user issue nowadays, not an OS problem. If you had decent anti virus software and took precautions, you won't get infected. I haven't gotten a virus on a personal PC of mine for at least 5 years (using Windows), and I am constantly torrenting, downloading porn etc. You need to not click on stupid shit.

Also if you run Windows on that Mac, you will get infected if you continue the same way you have. Running on Mac hardware will not magically make your Windows install invulnerable to infection.

Here's a tip, if you are a Mac owner and you are running windows with bootcamp or other means, only run Mac OS if you intend to connect to the internet.

Here's a tip: you barely know how to use a computer. Hundreds of thousands of people use Windows on the internet every day with no problems. You simply lack the basic skills to keep your system functioning.

I work in IT for a living, by the way - at a multimillion dollar company that has over a hundred Windows workstations that have internet access. But I guess you know better than our directer of IT, huh?

Thank you Captain Obvious and Oblivious.

Playa, read posts before you reply to them. Besides being flat out-dumb that statement has no bearing on what autism420 said.
