@Cowlick is more consistent, but @Joe_Cracker 's unpredictability has the style advantage.

Wrong, get over it. Your camera works with your old computer. Get to work.
If you're saying that my computer hasn't been connected to the internet since that time, well, you're wrong.I know the answer "Your system was never connected to the Internet"
Clearly we're dealing with a pro. Getting HD video from VHS and using "looseless" encoding is only the beginning.I know that some of you may have questions about mainly Rob Blu-Ray seeing that is what you will be buying. Here are some answers to questions that I know some of you have.
Q: Unknown Creature and Gateway where both shot on VHS, how can HD be achieved from such a format?
A: I have looked at that, I did get a chance to see an example of what HD can come from VHS footage. Not the best HD in the world but decent enough for the next generation home video, since these boards are often talk of video games and that some of you have an Xbox 360 with the HDDVD drive and/or a PS3 which is a blu-ray disk player on it's own. Whether or not those systems have up-convertion/up-scaling capabilities is unknown to me. By looking at our options here, it has been determinded that we can yeild a better HD scource by upscaling direct from the VHS using special up-convertion systems that can take an RGB scource and upscale it to HD and the picture and sound will be will be much better then if it was upscaled throw a DVD-backup of the original VHS tape or our current Rob DVD titles.
Q: What about VoiceOver Insanity?
A: That title used MSpaint .bmp loose images as well as fades and tranzizion effects. Currently no HD scource exsists but an HD scource can be generated in the software but with the current software the highest we can go is 1080i, but there is another program made by the same company that and can take the project files and generate a 1080p scource.
Q: What about sound?
A: Rob DVD titles mainly use Dolby 5.1 (AC-3) sound codec, our HD titles will have 3 soundtracks for the main feature, Dolby 5.1, new state of the art Dolby 7.1, plus looseless LPCM on Rob Blu-Ray and Dolby TrueHD on Rob HDDVD.
Q: Why no Dolby TrueHD on Blu-Ray
A: The Blu-Ray administration does not require all manufactuars to produce Blu-Ray players that can decode Dolby TrueHD even though it is optional on only a few Blu-Ray players on the market, the DVD forum requires all HDDVD players to decode Dolby TrueHD up to 5.1 channels, both formats can handle LPCM at 5.1 channels. Some straight to video titles will use only Looseless sound at 2.0 unless 5.1 was recorded on set.
Q: Will 963 release any combo format titles?
A: At this point, the answer is no because their are no double sided BD-R or HDDVD-R disks that are double sided with HD on side A and DVD on side B or vic-versa.
Q: How will the video be encoded?
A: On Blu-Ray we will be taking advantage of the 25GB storage space and use the MPEG-2 codec because of it's looseless video and the closest you can get to the actual HD scource. For HDDVD the director must decide between VC-1 or AVC.
Q: What about the special features?
A: Special features will be either 720p or 1080p as either VC-1 or AVC encoded. 963 Policy as of 2007 states that HD titles cannot pocess SD 480i/p or 1080i for the extra features unless say for example the behind the scenes documentary was shot in 1080i and for HDDVD if this is the case it is to be down-scaled and presented in 720p.
Q: 963 is known for shooting VHS, has that ended now?
A: Yes and No, some unreleased titles such as Frits and Pits where shot on VHS but we do plan on a full change over to more up to date digital video formats either the use of minidv or DVD camcorders that shoot either SD or HD.
Q: If say a movie is shot on a standard definition format, will it be up-scaled?
A: Yes, it will not only be up-scaled to HD it will be edited and cut togethor in HD. If Not it can be properly upscaled to HD post first release.
Q: How many copies of your existing library of movies have you sold?
I'd say depending on the size of our current library of titles, we've done well with copies sold online and offline (locally) but there is still alot more to us. The Rob DVD titles have sold well plus we've gotton pretty decent exposer along with future titles in the works, looking to the future is never a bad idea seeing that it's the same direction that the film industry has chosen.
Q: Are you really selling that many copies to where you need to go multiformat?
A: No, not selling as many or less is reason enough to go multiformat. 963 Policy as of 2004 "Make our product accessable to all paying consumers." It was originally put in place to insure that 963 titles would be sold on VHS and DVD. The push to support both HDDVD and Blu-Ray comes out of that same policy that made VHS copies of unknown creature availible to the people to the customers at the time. Once gateway was released, our main consumer base had already stopped buying VHS so we went solely DVD, Blu-Ray has become the standard but HDDVD did garner enough sales and was the first one to enter the market place because it was cheaper then Blu-Ray and some studios considered Sony to be a major competor since they own Columbia Pictures, Tristar Pictures, MGM, United Artists, Screen Gems Pictures, they had become a Monopoly unto themselves plus the PS3 insured fictory for Blu-Ray having the same effect in the United States that the PS2 had in Japan because when the PS2 was released in Japan, it was the cheapest DVD player in the Japanise market. If HDDVD is not suited to the consumer as a home video format then HDDVD-R could become say a low cost high storage disk as an alternative to DVD-R storage.
Q: Is demand for your products that high?
Not the entire lineup, which is true for all studios big and small. You don't see many people standing in line to buy Gugli on Blu-Ray but they would stand in line for movies like Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Lord of the Rings, Gone with the Wind, Terminator 2, Tron just to name a few. Unknown Creature was a profit winner but Gateway so far has been a flop, VoiceOver Insanity is a big what if because it's different from our previous titles. As we release more titles in the future and produce more then We will see where our consumer base and how big or small demand for each title becomes.
These are all the questions I can answer at this point, this page will be updated as more questions are answerd in the future.

I'm not sure what's worse about that shirt, the stain or the wrinkles.
So what's your point? Find someone who knows what they're doing and have them fix it.
