The first attempt video is really sad. Something about the way he hugged the green power ranger before he cried and gave up upset me for some reason. Poor guy.

Some dude's 13 year old daughter became an hero and he made a YouTube video of his playthrough of Omori and how he processed his grief. It offered glimpses into why a child would ever consider such a thing; Omori was the game she played before she flew high.

Or, Joe Winko was an intentionally unreliable narrator as the playwright of his own life. He did seem to have a penchant for parallel universes and alternate timelines. Never even heard of this guy until the feature about his suicide but having followed it after, the intense detail in doing it and how almost childlike he seemed in his mental illness is really gut-wrenchingly sad.
 
Since he was wearing a sonichu medallion, is Joe Winko actually going to reincarnate into the sims or the dark powers of the medallion will drag him to the autistic equivalent of hell (cwcville)?

I wasn't being literal. Any parent who has a child that commits suicide I never want to know them. If you're that distant from your own children I definitely want nothing to do with you.

Joe Winko flew to purgatory to woohoo Rolf. He will go out for a jawbreaker and ghost him in Heaven like a total son of a shepherd.
 
I am ashamed I didn't know about this guy earlier. Going through the thread and his channel for the past two weeks and what an insanely funny, creative, and talented guy. I do hope his work gets more recognition in the future-- the thread has doubled since his death. Even now there's twists, he's gone but the story is far from over, a showman until the end. I can't wait to see what happens next.

I'm an autist, not an artist, but I'm going to post my tribute! (21 million hours in MS paint.) It's based on a few different works from Joe. My theory is the medallion sent him here. The Cul-de-Sac claims another:
