I think he thanked someone on video for the stuff he used. I could be wrong and I just skimmed over it when it was all happening, but I swear he shouted out to someone before committing to it. I didn't watch the suicide video and am not going to, so I could be wrong.

Hey everyone, it's been a long time since I posted to KiwiFarms. Joe Winko lived down the street from me and his death has resonated with me. I figured the thing he seemed to value the most is having his story circulated. I did the only thing I can offer him and death. I created a two part series on the life and death of Joe Winko. I'm sharing it here to the farms before it hits iTunes as he made it clear he liked you all.

Update to this. Joe makes a cameo in a two part series that I’ve yet to release. He always valued exposure. I think, going forward, if a case covering features a grave visited by Joe, I’ll include audio from this. It’s a way to keep his name out there. And I think he would have liked that. If you want to listen to his section the time stamp is 1:28 into the episode.

All the videos have at least some audio, but in the 4th and longest one, after the first few minutes it mutes and never un-mutes.

I haven’t worked my nerves to watch the whole thing, my first time seeing his suicide but even sped up to be brief it’s still looking horrible for him, how he must have felt so ill and have been suffering….

I severely disagree. In terms of internet weirdos he was generally harmless. People using vinluv being fucked up to then frame it like joe winko was severely fucked up on the same level is the kind of shit that bugs me intensely.

I agree that he was failed by society and the people closest to him, but I do not think that is a sort of thing to warrent permanent institution over his surreal sense of humor and behavior online.

Joe wasn't just some brainless automaton nutjob, guy had shit going on in his life. Even with as fucked up as vinluv turned out since then I highly doubt his goal was to do whatever the fuck this shit people frame him as masterminding is. Even before the two were in contact Joe was making references to killing himself or dying , and spelt out in his own comical internet shitposter way (as well as some actually serious vids laced with a bit of autistic gallows humor) about why he ended up deciding to go through with it at the end. it wasn't vinluv. I'm fairly certain he just had the same view a lot of people on here had of Vinluv of him just being a kinda friendly wackyman guy that liked son of the mask a bit too much, which is kind of a strange mercy for him to not see what happened to the guy he considered one of his Internet friends.

As gay as the backrooms comparison tends to be it is indeed a feeling similar to the original concept of the backrooms' original copypasta. Empty, no sign of anyone though you know someone HAD to be there at some point... That sort of feeling,

Couldn’t reply to Lawgiver for some reason, but I FULLY agree on the prospect that Joe would have fucked up Vinluv. For starters even without Joe allegedly being sexually assaulted (which is likely not the case due to his adopted parents not even existing) but because of Joe Winko’s autism he always had a really strong sense of justice, if he ever felt wrong he’d always go after the person online.

What I’ve also come to realise fully was that the perfect citizens video about Joe was also a complete shill. His life story never seemed believable from the get go, whether it would be due to lack of time or resources, guessing both; as he still told the story of Joe’s fake adoptive parents, moreover a lot of his sources were either disproven easily or fake (I.e his online trolls, parent story), quite a few details were also conveniently left out, such as the people retroactively trying to help Joe on reddit, his inspiration from slasher films, his slow descent into becoming a lolcow to name a few.

IMO TPC’s portrayal of Joe wasn’t all that great, but one other important thing is that Vinluv is a big supporter of TPC, being a frequent viewer/commenter on this channel, hell earlier in thread he was going on about how it would be a good video. I blame Vinluv for not only potentially causing joes death, but also defiling his legacy.
