I was looking into the stats for this recently, especially from the famous Philadelphia study. In the absence of policies to believe all women, about a third of sexual assault accusations are considered to be unfounded by police (27.2% in the famous Philadelphia study), whereas with such policies in place (for example requiring female officers to interview accusers), the rate drops to about 2% (you're free to judge whether that's a good thing). Of all accusations, about 26% lead to the arrest of a suspect, and less than half of those lead to a conviction (which matches the 45% conviction rate for assault), which means only about 10% of accusations lead to a conviction. Obviously, it would be ridiculous to say that 90% of rape accusations are false, and I personally think that about 1/3rd are probably false, since it's likely that the number of true accusations without evidence are similar to the number of founded accusations that are false.
This is embarrassing. You realize anyone can just look back a few pages and see you were crying about people calling Tectone a rapist? Are you aware what the civil case was about stalking and not rape? The judge determined that probable cause exists to believe Tectone already did stalk Pinkchyu and is likely to engage in that conduct in the future. You getting upset when people call Tectone a rapist has nothing to do with what happened in court. Public OPINION is that he is a rapist. An opinion that anyone can hold even if he had won the civil stalker case.

You know I think you may be onto something. Maybe instead of eating whatever one political chicken wing shoves down our throat. We should pick sides on issues. Like, if you support pedophilia you're against me left or right. The side isn't left and right, but rather people who support/engage in pedophilia vs everyone else. Or the side of supporting spending trillions of tax dollars on letting our soldiers die for Israel vs everyone else. When you think on individual issues instead of groups you piss off more people but also tend to be more vindicated in the end.
